Haven’t watched the video yet. I just got mine replaced today and the mechanic said 6labor hours and I would need a wheel alignment because suspension parts would be taken off. Hopefully this vid will clear that up.
Great points. I was quoted 4 hours. It took me 2 hours and I am no expert. Just need to have the right tools. I am just showing the CV axle replacement, but great point for the alignment, other viewers can definitely take that in consideration at their discretion
I am struggling to install the new cv. I haven’t unscrewed any of the suspension parts though. Just a note to other viewers that it’s difficult but possible to remove and replace the cv axle without removing even the brake caliper. Seems like the passenger side front is harder to do than the driver side.
Couple of Questions: 1- What is the torques on the 6 screws that attach CV axle to the chassis? 2- What is the torque of the main 19-mm Allen screw? Thank you.
Anytime, thank you for your support!

Not necessary. That is the easier and quicker route (for the repair shop) but not necessary.

Check your owner manual or contact your dealer, I do not provide torques.
Thank you
