6:40 all that blaster, fire and a small inferno, and that screw was like OH HELL NOPE!!! 🤣🤣🤣
That's a pretty sweet bus.
Excellent video Justin, keep them coming.
Thanks so much! Fire always wins! Im really enjoying doing the videos.
@@driveanalog747 You are more than welcome. I love your easy going nature, you just get on with the job
Nice job thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
your right , she does run a littlelotabetter ! nice work.
Di this convertion 8 years ago and never ever had to adjust or mess with it, Best choice I've ever made
Excellent video. I have my '78 rebuild in progress and intend to follow your example for carb conversion. Can you provide any information about your start-stand? I am dreading fabrication of my own DIY version.
sounds good
always good when Darren comes by and helps out.
I agree with the one carb. No need to synchronize and the linkage easier of course.
I just bought a 1979 that has a halfway done EFI to dual solex conversion. The carbs are EMPI I have an old single Webber 32/36 setup like the one shown in this video. Unfortunantly the wiring is all disconnected and tangled up. I need to know more about wiring the conversion. The EFI brainbox and the EFI harness are both missing. Any information you have would be great!
Thanks!
Bosch L-jetromics Fuel injection rocks. Learn to trouble shoot it and drive drive drive.
Can I ask what you did with the line from the fuel evaporative system? Where does that end up on the carb setup?
Where did you hook up the break booster hose and check valve?
How much for the removed bosch L- jetronic fuel injection parts?
What is it where you folks live ? Everything has a mouse nest. Doesn't matter if it's a lawnmower or a Bus
What would this cost to have done? I have a 79 that’s needs this done and would like to know a ballpark.
Can you sell me all the fuel injection parts you removed from the video?
Thanks David.
Where are you located?
The stock FI injection system is stone reliable and easy to maintain for anyone that can read a manual.
Do you want to get rid of the FI parts? I’m looking to purchase some old parts
I have a bunch! I will sell them
Do you have an FI parts left
So how much HP did you lose by going back to a carb?
5hp-10hp not enough to notice. It makes up in reliability!
If anything you might gain hp, a new carb it's always better then a old wore out FI system
I heard center mount carb ices up is that true?
I have been told that but never had it happen
Center mount carb doesn't belong on a type 4 engine. All type 4 engines either had dual carburetors or FI.
Where is you shop?, I need this done to my 1979 Westfalia
Im in Newton, NH Preservation Autowerks
Did you do some modifications to the fuel tank and pump?
Just put an electronic inline fuel pump in. Make sure it’s a low pressure one.
@@driveanalog747 Hmm the stock mechanical pump is not enough I guess?
Didn't actually show how 2 install carb kit at all?
Tearing out original FI? Are you crazy? Seek a second opin....oh wait, too late 😒
