Great job! Cool story and execution :) The picture looks great I think. I agree about the shutter speed, but there's nice and pleasing motion blur! I like it! I think with some subtle color grading it can look more "cinematic" but overall it looks fantastic! and it was filmed with a phone! that's insane
I've been watching a lot of phone made short movies lately and this is one of my favourites. The pacing, framing, acting... Everything is spot on. This shutter speed issue didn't bother me at all. Although it is something that should be improved for future projects, it really is a minor problem.
only thing a bit weird is the shutter speed, it's too fast... given that you don't have an aperture control you could have used an ND filter ducktaped to the phone. Other than that great lens, focus, colors and stabilization edit: the shutter speed is particularly noticeable because the whole short is shot handheld with a lot of movements, it's less noticeable in stable shots
As someone considered this phone for short sketches, mini clips, tiktoks and hopefully something a little more cinematic i think this video showcases quite a lot of its capabilities. What accessories would you recommend to get the best from it?
I like this! Thank you for posting and taking the effort to make this! Well done! I also was planning to make a short film and was wondering about this phone.
