Aliya Navarro my cat freaks out if I put hair ball medicine on her paw. I use a lint roller on her to get rid of loose fur. I feed her canned food and dry food for indoor cats. Don’t really know what else I can do to stop the puking.

The one main reason is toxic food and water. Dog and cat food have a high level of arsenic .
With my two girls, I figured a while ago it was likely due to either the food, allergy to the food, not feeding them at the exact same times each day, a lack of routine combing, stress from mealtime from the sister wanting to steal food, and eating too fast because of the prior possibility. I've taken some steps to solve and eliminate some of these elements, but they still vomit from time to time, usually within 20 to 30 minutes of eating. This really is a multifaceted problem that is not easy to solve.
I have, however, perfected cleaning catfood vomit from my carpet! Sprinkle baking soda on the effected area, then pick up the bile with a paper towel. Sprinkle a bit more if needed then rub another paper towel on the area. Then use a scrub brush on the area. Then use a water-vinegar mix spray to very lightly cover the area. Use scrub brush again. Dry by rubbing paper towels. I am not sure if this is safe for all carpets, but with my white carpets I can't tell where they barfed.

My puss used to vomit EVERY SINGLE DAY, no matter how small portions I gave her.
Been transferring her 1 week ago , slowly adding raw food to get her used to the taste and smell, and I swear *no more pukes* . Best decision ever!
It’s a little bit more expensive, but worth give a go. You cant really overfeed them, they are much more playful and healthy, and if you compare the food vomited plus eaten to the raw food price, I guess it’s the same at the end :D
Also, complete sh*t food leads to obese, kidney problems etc...

My poor kitty once in a while vomits & can't figure out why. I did take her to the vet they recommended a $30 bag of cat food but didn't help. She also struggles with asthma & struggles with upper respiratory as well. I hate it when I find vomit on my bed.

Thanks, Because my girl she been doing it's about the same time period. She's about 3.5 in age and a long haired. We keep her groomed but, Regardless of what long haireds just consistently groom themselves. Tried furball control frisky but idk not really a change. ANYWAYS, if it WHITE be nice 2 people. She/he probably has acid reflex try having the bowl off the ground and tilted like one of cat commercials that show the advertisement for kitty acid-reflex.
My cat is 20 years old and is super healthy yet she vomits all of the time sometimes even on my bed. 😭
I ask our vet about it and he said, yeah sometimes they puke. At least that's what the assistant said he said. The poors are not allowed to speak directly to the cat doctor.

My cat also died today. She was vomiting yellowish red liquid or food. I went to the veterinary they were closed. I asked him on the phone what to do. Her face fell on the ground as I was feeding him. I knew she was exhausted and we're her last moments. I put her to sleep peacefully in her sleeping pillow. Today at 11 o clock was declared dead. My heart is broken. (I adopted her 1 month ago, she was a little bit grown)

My cat was puking often and I kept calling the doctor's office, they suggested it could be because of hair ball and suggested to give cat malt. Or it could be a parasite and I put an antiparasitic ointment above his neck. After the condition of cat did not improve and he lost significant amount of weight, I took him to the vet. They said the cat has a tumor on spleen and that could be removed surgically. After they started surgery they said the cancer has spread to the stomach and the cat should be put down. So there- It feel horrible, not taking the cat to the vet earlier and the vet also did a mistake of not suggesting that it could be something serious. If your cat is puking foam/ food/ yellow red liquid. Please take it to a vet before it is too late.
Try spring or tested well water. Also wash out bowls thoroughly daily, as you would your own dishes. Also many meats & meat fats contain dioxin

I know if you change brands of cat food ( usually because the one you were using went defunct ) you need to do it slowly. Otherwise nothing stays down for a couple of days while the system is in shock.

I give my cats various food all the time that avoids the problem of digestion troubles when giving only one type of food and then having to change it... It is not natural for cat or any animal to only eat the same 1 food forever.

Please READ I tried this home remedy and it did not work for me, but then again my cat did not get bleach. I took my cat to the vet had to get donations to pay it and they did a panleukemia test FPV and he tested positive. Survival rate for cats specially kitties is low. His symptoms were yellow vomid liquid, brown coffee Dark blood, no appetite, weak couldn't walk. He was not vaccinated 😭😭😭😭😭 Fluids meds did not save him. Now please keep my other two babies in prayers since they were exposed to that deadly virus. If anyone sees this symptoms is vet asap but again vet even said it is 50/50 chance. I'm so heartbroken 💔 😞 😔 . RIP snow.

I worry often about my female cat she throws up from time to time. I feel from overeating because it’s mainly then when she throws up or a fur ball occasionally. But I’m thinking and considering having her checked out at the Veterinarian. It’s not severe but it worries me still don’t want my princess internally hurting and so forth. 🐾💖🐱
Yes my female long haired cat is the same, she suffers terrible furballs, she has stuff from the vet, that makes the furballs go through her poo not vomit, then she is better, hope you're baby is well soon.

My female medium hair cat just started throwing up out of nowhere, she and her brothers have had some hair balls, nothing serious. But today she threw up undigested food 4times!! I don't think it's anything other than the little brother is going through a growth spurt and is eating everyone's food and she's trying to get her share and eating too fast or maybe she's developing an intolerance to the fish food I've been feeding her. You can get bowls that force your cat to eat slower, they're called slow feeding bowls. They basically work by making it inconvenient for him to eat, or by forcing him to use his paw to scoop the food out from under a cover or move an object out of the way to reach more food. I use a couple of different ones for my cat cuz he had the same issue. If you don't wanna buy a special bowl you might find success by putting a ball (like a golf or tennis ball depending on size) in the bowl. I've used the medicine cups and Jack's, but a grass mat or treat tray are good for dry food as well
My cat barfs mostly 3 times a week my mom was like we can take her to the vet but if she start doing it on the carpet more we have to get rid of her. The vet said it’s her cycle but she’s only 1 year old. The vet said nothing it wrong with my cat. :)

My cat howled really loud in the middle of the night and started vomiting and then she did it again an hour later. She didn't want to eat much or drink water or had a bowel movement in 5 day's. Just nibbled on boiled chicken and rice. And I took her to the vet. They done a full chemistry test and a CBC and kept her to give her IV fluids and an antibiotic shot a day. They Don't know what is wrong with her. She's been there for 3 day's and I got a call today They want to keep her until Monday because she's not eating still. I don't know why they don't know what is going on. So, it's Saturday 1/29/22 and I have to wait till Monday but when I took her Thursday they said I could get her today but she's not eating. So, I'm left guessing and googling and watching UA-cam videos to try and figure it out myself. I don't know what I would do without my baby girl. She also had a 103.5 fever when I took her Thursday.
My cat vomits regularly. I've had him since 2012 and he's had vomiting problems his whole life. Sometimes the food is simi-digested with liquid, other times it's immediately after eating. I suspect the latter is from eating too fast. But other times when it's simi-digested, it's obviously not right after eating. But throughout the years, he's never acted like he has an illness. And in fact he gained some weight through those years...until recently. I've noticed over the past month that he's LOST weight. He doesn't act ill but he's still vomiting as he always has. I want to take him to the vet but it takes two people to get him into a cat cage. My girlfriend is never at home the same time I am while the vet is still open. The only times we're at home together is in the evening after vet hours or on the weekends when the vet is closed. Does this sound like an immediate emergency to any fellow cat owners??!? I'm concerned about him but I don't know how I'm supposed to get him to the vet by myself. He's horrified of the cat cage/carrier. He doesn't even like getting into boxes like most cats. Only times he's been in the cage is when I moved over the years and once to the vet in 2016. All times it took at least an hour and always two people to get him in there. The last time we figured out a much easier way to get him in the cage but it still requires a second person to help. Any suggestions?!?
It is an emergency bc vomiting is never normal. Have u tried rolling ur cat in a towel or blanket then putting him in the carrier? My cat doesn’t like being in the carrier either but she can get in easily when I roll her up.

Oh wow. Ok! The vet I’ve visited and research I’ve done has suggested otherwise. I guess it’s a case-by-case basis as to whether cats vomiting is an emergency.

@@anthonyturninggreen4736 Yeah he has diabetes. I have to give him two shots of insulin everyday or he could end up having convulsions and die. The vet said if I would've waited to take him to the vet much longer he probably would've died. If you're noticing your cat lose weight yet it's still eating, TAKE HIM/HER TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY.

Or only when I am going 80mph on the highway. Projectile vomiting a hairball missile through the front of her carrier, spraying my glovebox and passenger side with vomit. The thing is, she ONLY does it when we are driving, I have tried all of the things to do for cat carsickness, at this point I think she is doing it out of spite.
Mine started doing it a few nights ago. Only white foam. He eats fine and drinks but its only VERY late at night. A: i dont want my cat sick and B: I havent been getting sleep now as he wakes me up when he does it. I switched him to Blue Buffalo last fall and he LOVES it..but now seems a bit meh towards it. going back to his old food (gotta go buy a small bag to test) but i really dont want to put him thru the stress of a vet visit as he is 12 in a few weeks. I just worry now. Hes been fine his whole life. hes old and fat so i assume is gastro related but just odd that is ONLY at night. I just gave him a Greenie treat and he scarfed it down and looked for more. I dont feed him a LOT, but i act like im freshening his bowl up and he usually goes to town on it. I even have the bowls raised up and an auto water feeder machine. Hes fine ALLLL day as i work from home and he sleeps and does his usual. Just very puzzling.

My 3 years old tom died yesterday after vomiting roundworms following up with green foamy bile frequently since one day until I took him to the vet where she confirmed that he is in critical state where all the fluid in his body is passed out and needs to get hydrated soon and he was given two salines along with a vitamin and vomiting pills though even after he came back home later in afternoon he tried to pee but once again he started vomiting yellowish acidic substance without peeing even he tried to drink water from his bowl but couldnt even drink because of no energy left in his body but the thing is I never let him outside without a leash under my vision but the vet said he might be getting worm infested through another cats as he shares the same litter box with one of my other stray who might be having worms

My 1 month and a week old kitten won't eat anything and when she tries to eat anything she vomits. The other kittens were like this but got better once given the deworming medicine, but one kitten alone won't eat anything and is getting very thin. It's been like this for 3 weeks.

I know it’s been over a year since you made this post about your kitty being skinny and doesn’t eat a lot so I hope he’s ok? But it really sounds like you need to take him to a vet. Being so thin might be a sign of illness like diabetes or thyroid among other problems. If he’s still living please take him to a vet or give him to someone who can, or maybe someone can help pay for his tests? Especially if he seems to have no energy and is lethargic. Please write and let us know how your kitty is doing.

@@davidmontesinos9370 my cat had ingested a toy / foreign object which upset his stomach, especially since it had been sitting in his tummy for over a month. He also had roundworms in his intestines. Keep your kitty hydrated as best you can and feed bland food like chicken and if you can get him to a vet do asap, if your cats eaten a foreign object it could be very dangerous for them so they may want to do some x rays to check for obstruction
@@davidmontesinos9370 the vet will also want to know if the cat is peeing and pooping okay. If he is peeing and pooping let them know, and tell them the consistency of the poop / bring in a poop sample in case you want to test for worms

Play with him, buy him new toys, playing with the same toys for a while can lead to stress, since it’s very boring for them, if you can’t buy new toys (like me) get some tiny piece of cardboard, and scrape it on carpet, then throw it somewhere, usually my cat goes after it, and she finds it entertaining.

@@2ADVANCEDYT Im glad, i got a little panic when my two kittens started vomiting yesterday and had lethargy but they seem much better now even tho they do not run or walk like they used to. Their tummies might be hurting
icarux Make sure his water is not tap water. Too many chemicals. They smell the chemicals and refuse to drink. Then they get dehydrated.
