You should use 3 by 3 Lego technic bins and remove the four things where the wings go and then you shouldn't have any gaps

I love this mod! But I seen a better version of the Starfighter from hautti5studios where he didn't only make the cockpit lower to be more accurate, but also made the tips pointy which is canon to episode 2!
