- Hi! I hope you like my work on this set!
In this tutorial you will find how to improove LEGO 75333 set. I have added piont front, landing gears and filled the gaps between wings. I hope you like it!
Happy building!
Big improvement with just a small amount of parts. It shows how much Lego is trying to skimp on parts use in most modern sets.
Thank you! Will you mod also your set this way?
@@SobekBricks If I had one, I would. Especially those slopes as rear landing gear are an eye-sore. That's something you'd do in a 4+ set, not in a Star Wars set, which often ends up as collector's item
@@rc-fannl7364 (wait until you see slope "landing gears" on mandalorian starfighter....)
Well if you want to get really technical that starfighter along with most Lego puts out are way too big Ive actually made mine the correct scale using instructions on rebrickable using only pieces in the set with a ton of left over pieces
I made a R2 unit port like the one in Anakins interceptor so I dont have to take R4s head off every time I want him to get on the fighter. It was really easy since the actual pieces are in the actual set.
I don't want to lose the look of the wings, with bulky build under one and wider gap on the top, so I'm fine with only the head :) I was thinking about lowering the cockpit and removing compartment for droid body but left it as it is
Hello there! In fact, the droid unit is an integral part of the ship which cannot be removed. I think the altered version with a full removable droid first appeared in the original Lego Star Wars videogame (so the 2nd player could play as one in Kamino level).
@@DallArtOrigins the Delta 7B added an astromech socket in front of the cockpit, allowing one to be inserted into the interceptor complete, rather than removing the head. R4 P17 did actually have a body, but it took time and tools to reinstall it.
Hello..... I don't often watch like a Star wars videos but I had to take 9 minutes to watch yours. That's because I admire what you did, most Star wars channels are just reviews and reactions. but you actually took the set and upgraded it with stuff that you thought would make it better.
I cannot tell you how sorely most Lego UA-camrs are missing that content, however it's nice to see someone who's not afraid to change things up a bit. I guess this little rant is just saying thank you for your creativity. 👍
Oh my, I appreciate so much your opinion, thank you! This give me motivation for more videos like this that I would like to focus my channel on. There are so many reviews on youtube that there is no sense in doing another one when you can watch MandrProductions and know everything. I would like to make things better in affordable way, so almost anyone can improove their sets. Thank you once again for your time and warm words!
@@SobekBricks you are more than welcome, and I hope you continue to do videos like this.
@@timebomb42 Next one probably this weekend, about new Mandalorian Starfighter
Looks so much better that the original, might have to buy one after this!
Thank you! How are the prices in your country? For this one lego has increased price, in my country it is 160 zł but you can easly find ones for 110 zł
I love what you’ve done here but if you didn’t know the Jedi starfighters Lego makes are way too big for what they’re supposed to be there is an alt build for this set on rebrickable with free instructions that can turn it into the proper size using no pieces not included in the set
The Gap filling in the Front really was necessary, looks so much better with your modification, good job.
I really like the mods you added! It just looks amazing
I'm glad you like it!
Supposed to be buying this set for my birthday, definitely using these tips! This version looks so much better with minimal effort
Great! Have a great time building and modding it!
Klasa LEGO może się uczyć 💪👏
Awesome job. Looks much better!
thank you!
Thank you, for a gift on the right time.
Hi, nice work. Do you have by any chance a list of part numbers that you used for the mod?
I love to see if an Ahsoka starfighter could be made from this set.
maybe I will try one day ;)
@@SobekBricks I was thinking the same thing after i said it lol
Nice modifications!
You are outstanding!. thanks for the sharing!!!
Great mod! Could you make a video about your landing platform and the crates on it? 8:06
Amazing, thanks so much!!!
No problem ;) enjoy building!
cool mods, looks great
Great Job!
Thank you sir!
Hey can you do the same for Anakin's starfighter? Would be awesome if you could make it match the Obi Wan design but with the new mods too
Looks awesome! Do you have a parts list for this?
Thank you! Sorry but I don't make parts list, I've separated at least extra from existing ones 😅
great content. Subscribed
thanks a lot
The set is pretty dang perfect as it is minus the stud shooter. The new design is far too blocky and ugly, so I’m aiming to swap them out with the order and better looking stud shooters if I can find some in my collection.
looks very nice !! do you have the parts list for the pieces for the mods and the base you did? :o its very nice!! thanks :)
Thank you! Unfortunately I'm not making parts lists, curently I'm not having much time. The base is from two city roads sets and lbg grills, under is one layer of grey bricks and some bricks supporting in middle
@@SobekBricks no stress my guy , thanks for replying , keep up with the good content :p
5:50 blaze sound from minecraft
Great video! Just got this set as a gift for myself this christmas as a way to get back into lego after 12 years, love the chagnes you made to the set and I think of doing the same. Where do you get your extra parts for? I have heard of sites from US but do you have anything from EU?
Glad you liked it! I have used parts from my collection, if you are looking to buy specific pieces bricklink is the best site for it, in any place of world, just select sellers from your country to not overpay for shippment. There are many tutorials of how to use bricklink so there should not be a problem for you to search for peaces and buing them ;)
@@SobekBricks thank you so much, I'll look into it!
@@oli5938 Have fun!
Should of gave the extra parts warning before taking it apart
Awesome job I love it!! What's the song you used called?
Thank you so much! It is "Grey Blue Grey" Tommy English
@@SobekBricks thank you! Keep up the great work on rebuilds!!
@@zachjonas6987 I will, have you seen new ones on my channel? ;)
@@SobekBricks yea they're awesome man! Do u have Instagram?
@@zachjonas6987 No, only youtube :)
i did exactly the same except with gap i changed it another way
So the same but different? 🤔
@@SobekBricks yes exactly
There's only 2 reason I can think of why Lego didn't do at least the sharper nose themselves, 1: they wanted it to fit in with older sets that depict delta 7 jedi starfighters so it's not out of place, 2: some bs about it being sharp and some dumb kid would poke their eyes out and ruin it for the rest of us,
Or maybe a 3rd option is lego is just cheap who knows
hah second option is real :D and yes, SW team often goes into half-measure treatment for sets and minfigs :(
What kind of weird shaped pieces are those in the baseplate at the end?
Boxes and fuel tank, maybe I will do a tutorial for them one day if you want
@@SobekBricks cool
How many new "road" pieces did you use for the ground display plate?
two sets, so there are 8 pcs 16x16 and 2 pcs 8x16 with crosswalks
@@SobekBricks thank you very much :)
Very good, the adiicinal parts where do you gets?
thanks! Usually I try to use the parts i have in spare collection. The best way to buy parts is on bricklink, there are many tutorials of how to place order on it ;)
I hate the fact, that there are never any proper finish underneath these Lego Star ships....
I don’t mean to be a nerd but those clones aren’t suppose to be there. This happened way before phase 2 came out
holy moly, how did I not see it? should have used phase 1..
Oh it’s fine it’s just a minor issue
The build looks amazing
