Hi there bro. I absolutely love that 51 Pontiac sedan. Now that is a project I would definitely sink my teeth into. I kind of like the duster but that is going to be a lot of work on the underside. I am definitely with you on the Skylark. I have always thought it was a beautiful looking car. Now the 58 Buick is just beautiful. That is something I could see me driving around and just cruising around town in. Now maybe my cheese has slid off its cracker but the 72 Plymouth satellite to me is a beautiful looking car. That just says to me muscle car. another awesome video from you bro. I definitely look forward to the next one. Please take care and blessings to you and your family from the UK.
No.. all the cars in the video are great projects.. I'd personally take the two sets of buicks and the Chrysler at the beginning if I had room.. thanks for watching and commenting as always sir
The chances of the Toronto being a 429 are, in fact, lousy. Was a street racer in the day. Worked in Ford dealerships in a major metro area for 5+ years and never saw a real one. Not one. Plenty of fakes: 390s, 428s, ex-delivery truck 460s? Common as fleas! In 1975, 428s from the salvage yard cost $150.....Basically, the cost of a set of 429 badges/etc.....and badges easier to install.... Lots of fun stuff( that little Chrysler!!!! In a heartbeat!) Nothing too wack. Loved the scallop paint job.
I hear ya.. and that's what I was thinking on that torino. But I'm not a huge ford guy so wasn't sure.. now the chevelle your not gonna fake ke there. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@MOTORHEADMISFITS-zk9su That's either a 429 or a 460....385 series ford engine...I'd want to check the vin first. If it's a true 429 GT, it could bring some big bucks, after a total resto...
WoW! A pretty reasonable based video! The prices are actually not too bad compared to usual & the condition of them aren't too shabby either. There maybe hope for the marketplace after all,🤔. BTW, loved the 72 Ford & liked the Ranchero but hey I'm an old Ford guy, pre-Farley though, he destroyed Ford, their reliability & their Made in the USA pride! FIRE FARLEY & BRING FORD BACK HOME!
The Skylarks are awesome. And both should be restored. Easy to work on and parts are kinda easy to come by. Had a 70 Buick Skylark Custom years ago. It got sideswiped by a Semi on Interstate 80. He came into my lane and tore up the side of it. I drove it away from the accident. $1200 bucks and a month later!!! Good as new. Loved that car. And the rest of these rides... I wish I had enough time. Car candy overload🤣. Great video... 💯👍✌🖖
I had the chance to buy a 429 Torino . I was 18 and had most of the money. I asked my grandad to loan me the rest. He was cool with it until he saw the cobra badge on the hood. He wouldn't loan me the money for fear I would unalive myself in that Ford. He was probably right. Hard to believe that was over 30 years ago.🤠
Ouch.. I know same happened to me over a 396 chevelle but it was my father who said no after he seen the ss badge. Thanks for watching and commenting and sharing your story.
Awesome video man! I like the projects that you picked for this list, and I like the merch that you have to offer as well! I like the skull "MOTORHEAD MISFITS" sticker that you have for sale, I will definitely try to buy it and put it on something that I have to show my support for your great work, thank you for this awesome video, and the one from yesterday was good too, you have a great idea about the car project series, it should go well, I'm wishing you the best of luck, and I can't wait to see the first episode of that series, 👍👌😁😎👏💪💯🤙🙏✌
Yes it's definitely worth a look for sure.. an the 50 was a great project for someone with a small budget and a little mechanical skill. Thanks for watching and commenting
The 51 Pontiac sedan delivery would be awesome for customizing. 455 Pontiac engine, custom tail lights, wheels, and a nice paint job, and that thing would be a beast.

I also had a pea green '72 Skylark. It had a green interior and a white vinyl top. I bought it back in 1976 for $1,800.00 bucks. Back then it was just a four year old used car.
My daily driver is a 1988 f 350,one ton dully,4 door,dual tanks,2 wd,460 ci,it looks like the day it came off the line.never restored. 8 mpg, 4/11 gears
Chrysler, big block, that Cadillac... Shut up & take my money. That Dusty, near sand Duster, nah. Buick Skylarks is near ready to dirt bag the streets at that price. These are some sane priced buggies here.
I feel that the price on the Caddy was a miss print. There probably should be a one in front on that number, because what i saw it sure looked like someone spent a few dollars on the paint job. Also those two Buicks that was a helluva good price. I love that body style especially in a two door. Thanks for the video and your time.
Good call! But I believe it wasn't a mistake on the price... as I seen a few different posts for it that had the same price.. however they may not proofread either. Thanks for watching and commenting
That Galaxi with a 400..Now thats a screaming engine..i had an LTD with the same engine and it would light up the tires..those cars ride like Cadillacs too
Wouldn't touch that Duster, the passenger side looks like it has a ton of body filler. If the Torino has the original engine which should be the 429 SCJ, I'd take it. Love the 58 Buick, really like the body style.
I'm certain the hood emblem on the snot green Skylark is upside down. I'd definitely would want to make a Gator car from that Ford, can't be many of those left. As for prices, I have no idea. I'm Canadian so the prices shown almost double, then add bringing it up here somehow. I did see a nice 58 Caddie behind the 58 Buick that I would snag.
I like your episodes when go hard on dissing the daily specials, but I also like it when show bunch of winners. 1) You start out with a collector, as all 300s are muscle cars. This one is a 300L, it is the last year of the original Chrysler Letter cars. (The 300 M is a Front-Wheel-Drive poser.) And the last 300 is separate although it is a good Rear-Wheel-Drive car. 2) This is a personal favorite. If it is a runner it is a good price, I wouldn't change it as there isn't anything wrong with it. 3) Sorry, this one is a motor swap. There is a specific hood-scoop for the Cobra-jet and Super Cobra -jet, but it still has a good price on it. 4) I would argue the price down a little since he is hiding the damage on it, and floor pans are not that big of a deal to a weilder. Otherwise you're right, it can be saved. 5) I agree with you on this and I also like them. 6) For both, yes this is a deal. 7) I like these too, but I also have to ask about the '58 Fleetwood. (This design from the '57 Cadillac Eldorado inspired the '58 Corvette.) 8) Get it running, fix the seats and then leave it as is, the motor is perfect as is. 9) I agree and I like them. 10) My Dad had a Maroon 1974 LTD. (This car with a higher trim level.) It introduced me to bigger cars and ruined me on smaller cars as I would take an A-Body GM car over the more popular F-Bodies. 11) It is good as is.
That Pontiac sedan delivery is hella awesome, and I like all the station wagons around her. I hope someone saves that delivery and doesnt molest her looks with hideous shaves and chops that destroy a classic
