  • @ZigbertD
    @ZigbertD 3 роки тому +1

    I've got the Keeley Verb-o-Trem on my board right now, and it sounds great, has all three of those trems but only two verbs and those are only switchable internally, no tap or expression, so I'd been considering getting something a little more advanced like the Strymon Flint, but then along comes this one, damn! Actually beats the Strymon in one way at least, tap right on the pedal, no external tap switch needed. And that vibrato too, modeled on the Magnatone amp like Lonnie Mack used (on the VoT it's actually labeled "Mack", haha). One question, can you switch the order of the verb and trem? If so, this is my next pedal purchase.
    And as always, great sounding demo. I know they're just short pieces, but they're fully formed compositions and arrangements that totally showcase the pedal. Amazing.

    • @Nocean831
      @Nocean831 3 роки тому +2

      You can change the order! I forget exactly how, but I think it's as simple as holding the alt knob down and double tapping the switch that you want to come first.

    • @RobertKeeleyTV
      @RobertKeeleyTV 3 роки тому +4

      @@Nocean831 You're right! @ZigbertD you can change the order on the fly with your feet. It's cool to contrast how the reverb and volume changes textures

    • @ZigbertD
      @ZigbertD 3 роки тому

      @@RobertKeeleyTV Yeah, I watched another demo, Brett Kingman, and he demonstrated some of the differences in sound switching the order, some amazing sounds, especially in stereo. I think I’ve found my tremolo/reverb upgrade, for sure.

    • @ZigbertD
      @ZigbertD 3 роки тому +1

      Ok it wasn’t my very next pedal purchase, I got a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and the Walrus Audio Ages/Warhorn dual overdrive first, but the Hydra is here and it does not disappoint. Man, it sounds incredible in stereo. Really happy with it, another winner from Keeley.

      Yes, what happened is our engineering grew. I re-invested in the company and people and engineers so that we could make better products. We make better guitar effects than I did 20 years ago. It's not a repackage really, it's more like a rebirth.
