I''ve seen so many cases - in other videos - where pilots detect a serious problem ....but delay seeking to put the plane down at the nearest airport, with catastrophic results.
Yes is the case, busy dithering costs valuable tome, and not being able to assess the problem adds to the confusion.

That’s not how the 737 crashed. It hit way before the highway and skidded into the hill.

How are you going to safely evacuate passengers from a crashing airliner using parachutes if that airliner is in a nosedive, flying over the ocean, or on fire?
Clearly that’s unrealistic, improving safety features/pilot training is the best way to avoid such fatal accidents

Aircraft usually cruise at an altitude of 35,000 feet or less, and many emergencies happen during the cruise from many of the crashes. A parachute is completely nonsensical duebto the fact that you cant even open the door because of air pressure anyways.
And even if you were able to, you’d just die due to altitude poisoning.
maybe if the pilots retracted the flaps all the way to 5 or 1, maybe they could've made the end of the runway?
i say 3 would of made it on the first one, they should of done more
okay but maybe if the pilots did retract the flaps too much, that could've stalled the aircraft.
