    I tried this (the 9-3 drill) at the range today using the pro Sender and was hitting flush shots (most of them dead straight) from the half swing position almost as far as I would using the same club with my old full swing. I am committed to working on this until that backswing position gets grooved. Thanks so much for posting.

      @winsyong 3 місяці тому

      @@scottcline3018 idts, she’s been in this swing the past 2 seasons and winning again. Got back a bit steep late last season but swing looking good again. I believe she has a very different swing from TW’s with foley. It seems foley also got her tested and she’s also a “rear post pivot” and allowed her to go back to her “natural” way of pivoting in the backswing. 😃

    • @scottcline3018
      @scottcline3018 3 місяці тому

      @@winsyong Sean is that you again? So a pivot in the backswing? Is that a load to the right side? A pivot right would imply driving the pelvis to the right which would transfer all the weight to the right, or at least 95 percent. That is because the pelvis is in the center of the body and closer to the feet. That means it has a greater effect on weight transfer than the head. Something all of you were so confused about for at least a decade. Do you think Ko is centered? Look at the feet, and look how the head starts right of center. That is very hypocritical for little Fooldya boy. Please explain the difference between a pivot right and the Centered pole down your back swing. Child, you are simply using buzz words that you do not understand just like Mighty Mouse. Please try to explain so we can all have another good laugh. You actually want to separate during the backswing. The pivot is very different on the way through when the shoulders sync up with the hips while driving everything through. Please try to explain the differences between the pivot right and left. Then try to explain how that is "centered." Do you even know where she was getting steep? Is that backswing, downswing, impact or follow through. I love watching you boys throw around buzz words and none of you even know what part of the swing you are talking about. I know you were one of those boys teaching extension through impact, then your klan started breaking backs. Then you went to preventing early extension through impact which is the complete opposite. Compete hypocrisy on every level, pure comedy child. Try to respond with words you actually understand. Stop talking about a tour that is losing BILLIONS. Your kind has been a complete disgrace to the sport. Time to pipe down little boy. Please try to define a pivot in the golf swing. The wider the swing gets to the right the more shallow it will be through impact. Were you aware of that? Of course not, that is the complete OPPOSITE of centered, how do you get wideright while staying centered? Butch Harmon 101 that none of your klan combined understood. Can't wait for your next pathetic attempt at a response. Just generational sacrifices to show what happens when you mess with the real Coaches. If you had any idea what is going on with the tour, you would stop name dropping and trying to buzzword your way out of everything. All we have to do is ask you to define the words you are trying to use and you will cripple every time. We know what they mean, that's why it is obvious to us that you do not. Everything you think you know is just a hoax child, that's why you can't break 90 to save your life.

    I could not agree more on the head rotation part in the backswing. I see a lot of my golf friends are still trying to limit their head rotation in their backswing, which limits their shoulder rotation, resulting in a weak swing. Maybe this is related to different body flexibility. But I think it is a part not many coaches will talk about or even encourage their students to do. But the rotation of my head with my shoulder helps me a lot in my swing.

    After 21 years of "instruction", he should be a champion. Perhaps all that you need is a model of what your body has to do to get the most out of it. Effectiveness is defined as the maximum efficiency with the minimum effort. Find a way to get your body to produce all that it can towards the best effect possible, if not the best possible effect. Neither does Sean
      That’s his grift. If he talked in normal parlance he would be found out by entire world

    Bad advice for the average golfer.... we aren't pro's who can move and stretch like they can...they play golf all day long...everyday... less movement for us is a lot better...the more we have to move...the more mistakes we make... Case closed..

    Great content, however the negative teaching, "Three things...don't do...," is not helpful. The mind/body does not do negative things; it does positive things, as in, "don't miss left;" you'll miss it left, unless you instruct yourself to "hit it down the right," for example.

    A minute 50 seconds in and still a commercial about Sean Foley stop wasting my time and move on. Peter Cowan is twice the trainer anyway

    Great video but Bruce Lee practiced Kung Fu which utilizes natural body movement whereas Karate does not it, rather it uses unnatural body movement in that it tries to move in a linear fashion whereas Kung Fu moves in a circular fashion. Humans move in circles and arcs i.e. the elbow and knees move in arcs (semi circles) and the shoulder, hips, etc use ball joints and move in circles. Wish I could afford lessons with Foly☹

    So according to Foley, in 25 mins he tells us there are 200 things you need to know and do to perform the golf swing well. Good luck with that.
