It's the ends of your hair that need oiling not your scalp.

@@liawatson5789 depends on the person. Some people have dry scalp/eczema. I have oily scalp so I don't need it

I remember when I used to get relaxers as a kid, I would always keep touching my new growth, wondering what it would be like to just let it grow out. Thank you soooo much for this update! Your 4C hair tutorials helped me go on my natural hair journey in 2016, and all glory to God I've been loving my fro ever since!!

Literally the story of my life. My front hair is SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the back 🤦🏾♀️ Bothered me quite a bit when my hair was shorter but now at armpit length it looks uniform. Doesn't look weird anymore ❤️ Our hair just be like that sometimes. Growing at different lengths helta skelta, but we move! 🙌🏾

Thank you so much for this video Chizi! We got heat damage around the same time, and I decide to transition instead of chopping off as well. All of 2019 I did protective styles and trimmed every couple of months. I can honestly say around this past August I saw my 4C hair texture again and I love my hair more than ever before! Your hair is looking good and I'm glad you took us along your heat damage journey because it gave me hope during mine that I can learn from my mistakes. Keep being you! :)

My hair was thriving before this pandemic. I recently went in to get a trim and had to cut 3 or 4 inches off to get rid of breakage and restore my shape as well. My hair also grows slower in the front. I'm back on top of my routine because that setback hurt my feelings.

I had to deal with heat damage a couple years ago too and it’s so annoying to deal with when you don’t know when your hair will fully come back (especially 4c hair) and you won’t have damaged ends anymore ooff!! But I’m really happy your hair is healthy again, I hadn’t even noticed your damage because your hair so beautiful and full!! God bless❤️
