- Welcome to my channel!
Today's video is a twist out tutorial on wet, natural type 4 hair that has some heat damage in the front. To achieve these juicy curls, I two strand twist my damp hair in medium size sections using Mielle's Hair Butter and Aunt Jackie's Curl Boss gel. When I get toward the front which is the heat damaged portion, I do the same steps as the back, however I use small gray perm rods to curl the straight ends. This protective style lasts me about 4 to 5 days and helps me lay of the heat in between silk presses.

Girl what damage , you’re hair looks good ✨
Thank you 🥹it’s just the little straight pieces in the front lol
I like your hairstyle! The finished product is so nice 👍🏾 😍
Thank you ☺️
Your hair looks bomb! I haven’t done a twist out in years, since my early transition days lol once my hair could curl with just water, I was done with them twist outs. lol Now I just wet, add gel and go. But my hair was recently damaged by the Dominicans, so I’m nursing it back to health. Gotta learn how to do my own silk press. Product recommendations, a heavier or thicker oil, or even gel could help with frizz. I like argan oil and wet line gel.
Thank you for these recommendations! I’m definitely going to try them out and girl them Dominicans are no joke 🥴 they will burn your hair off without a care smh
God please let my joint turn out like this! 🙏🏽
Lmao this made me laugh so hard! I have faith you can do it 🩷
Because you know how it is! Go to bed thinking you did the best twist out in the world, wake up and the ish is lopsided and just does not work. But no- following your instructions on this tutorial, my hair came out beautifully. Thanks girl! @@GeeAesthetics
Super cute
Thank you ❤️
So cute. 💕
Thank you ❤️
Love it, I do the same thing to my hair. How do you get you hair to stay more then two or three days? I put mines in a pineapple and then a bonnet?
Instead of one big pineapple I do one in the back and 2 at the top and then my bonnet
I have heat damage in the front too but idk how to roll up a rod
It’s not as hard as you think. Use the end of the twist and roll the twist on itself so that it won’t unravel. I hope that makes sense lol practice always makes perfect too
