I like the gritty cinematics and how the story was told in tiberian sun. Tiberium wars and the tiberian saga after that doesn't have the same gritty quality and epic story telling as this.
I don't mind Tiberium Wars but Twlight drives me up the wall. GDI is by far the worst part of it, I mean the characters are wearing modern BDU US desert camo instead of futuristic set as an example.
Good old Westwood days indeed. Westwood was the best, my heart bled when they(the company) died all good is killed .. :( R.I.P. Westwood (but still hope to see you reborn, out of the ashes with the same people, and stronger than ever. The Genre of strategy gameing needs it.)
No, MS doesn't own EA, EA is a publisher and independent. Westwood was dissolved by EA, not by MS and EA is worse then MS, because they haven't only destroyed C&C
It's amazing how this game has such great clothing/suits for the actors (NOD soldiers have actual suits for example) while in C&C 3 everyone is wearing cheap-ass stuff you could buy off ebay for 10 bucks, even the NOD soldiers in C&C3 only wore black shirts
There was a reason, Nod and its soldiers were decimated after the Firestorm Crisis. That's why most of its foot soldiers are militia as they had to transfer their surviving professional soldiers to either the Black Hand squads or the Shadow Teams.
Still watching this in 2020, missing the good ole days I played this as a kid for days on end, hours & hours, battles lasting hours, vibing to the Soundtracks and loving every minute of content.
Nice editing of the cutscenes. Only if there were HD copies of those scenes were available. I think we're gonna have to wait for an advanced AI like CABAL which is capable to restore sd images to full HD resolution. ;)
There IS hope though. Look up the Tiberium Essence mod. THAT will give you the sequel you desire. As for C&C4, the only file that can help that tripe is the uninstall.exe
so i have played tib sun several hundered times heck i even went over 5 different copies of the game(different times brought from different versions with different patches on them) and there are some scenes(the mutant ones specifically) that 1 i dont have the movie files themselves from(when looking with xcc) and 2 dont even have access to the missions over so im glad to see new things even after all this time :3

Can someone explain what happened at the beginning? Where did sloveck come from? What was being referenced in the dialogue with Jones? Who framed him and why? How did the current nod leader gain power? Was there some prior alliance with nod?
Two years later, here are the answers. General Hassan was a puppet leader put in place by GDI to rule Nod. Slavik was a Kane Loyalist who was framed as a spy to get him out of the picture.
i played tiberium wars kane edition USK 18 back when i was 9 and i loved it, i never played tiberian sun before but i love the entire concept of a more modern tiberium universe which tiberium wars and kanes wrath picture almost perfectly more than any other of the saga, but when i played tiberian twilight it wasn't the same, it was just weird, a moving mbv just with units, maybe some abilities or defense structures? yeah naw thats just trash, but the cutscenes were rather good if it's about quality, shitty about story tho FU EA

Good game. I was really missing the ships and Mechs in C&C3. So glad I skipped 4 from what I heard.
I did the same thing you did. UA-camd the mechanics and cutscenes of C&C4 and was glad I didn't spend my money on it.
