I love Kobe, Kobe is a gifted student, but the master is MJ. There is no debate, there´s just ignorance. This moves are so pure, so beautiful, there is no way to stop them, there is no way. People talk about the skyhook, but this moves, the olajuwon´s, mj´s, kobe´s, moves are the most letal weapon. For MJ was another thing in the repertoire.
this why jordan is the greatest of all...he use his knowledge in basketball to have more points..pure talent..not like the others, they use their body, tallness and shooting power..jordan is just different to them..it doesent matter if he is deffende by a big body or tall players..he has everything..it means complete package..
Jordan didn't invent the fade, but he sure as hell mastered it and expanded on its use....No one has so many different set-ups into the fade from both sides of the block as Jordan did. Your at his mercy in the post, he was always a threat to pass out of it, juke you and go around you, step-back.....i mean, the man is literally unguardable when he gets the ball there....You just hope he's off that night.
Hakeem & Jordan, the original and still the best at the shake & fade/ shake up & under. Over the year many have followed, but Jordan oh my the grace and ease he does it is unbelievable and against more physical defense!
I was so lucky I saw this night in night out. I tell the younger generation no comparison he the goat. they go watch videos like this but honestly was even better cause like isaih said you never saw same move twice
When Jordan retired, we had Kobe. Now Kobe has also retired, who can inherit such amazing footwork in NBA? I think the current rules and tactics discourage back to basket plays in the low post. What a shame.
Gary Sheffield-Henderson 3s and dunks man. Sad. The finesse game was my favorite part. Triple threat at the top the key, post up, fade-away The game has turned from chess to checkers
This compilation is the real example why Michael is the best best ever ever. Because of his smoot game, not a game of force. End of the story. Finish the book!
Michael is unbelievable. If the defender managed to position the block (which was already a tremendous task) MJ could feint in the air to get rid of it. And still control the shot! Guarding him must have been the worst of the jobs in the NBA.
This video, though awesome, is only the tip of the iceberg. Jordan's post game was lethal, and he had EVERY move. He also invented/popularized many of the moves you see players use today. He was very intuitive in the post. His post game was on full display in the 1998 ECF, where he abused Miller and Rose in the post.
holy shit and any other adjective to describe being amassed by the splendor of a master of his craft. Imagine seeing da Vinci carving the statue of David
rodette2010 yes I realized the mistake. thanks for the correction. should have said the Sistine chapel and many others. Both of those renaissance artist where awesome, like Mike. Thanks again for the correction.
rodette2010 I don't know what's worse the mistake or the fact no one caught it for 7 months. I hate looking like an idiot. But it makes me laugh at myself.
As a lebron fan and laker fan ima say Jordan is a basketball God! Two three-peats! Phenomenal I still can't believe it not being old enough to watch at that time it's crazy!
4:13 Except for Hakeem Olajuwon, no player could easily use such moves anytime he wants. It was natural for MJ. It is sad that kids watching current NBA will only learn how to shoot 3pts or half court 3pts.
@brandonmccray First, this isn't the Pistons but the Knicks. Second, yes he travelled, but he did not take "at least 3 steps of his pivot". Watch his right foot, this is the pivot. He travels because he slides it one step, the moves with the left foot would be perfectly legal if he had not slid his right foot.
@avid3810 It is fast and that is the reason for the travel. At the speed he's moving it is very tough to really plant his foot and not slide it. The very least it is better than some of those 4 steps to the basket we see nowadays...
If lebron could learn low posts moves like THAT he might be able to take the goat spot. Kinda big to move like mj though Kobes shit just wasn't as pretty either.
As good as Hakeem and McHale in the post, and obviously on a league on his own as far as perimeter players playing in the post is concerned. Kobe?, he copied every Jordan post (and perimeter) move, then took clases from Hakeem himself, and still isnt quiet as good a post player as Mike (much less on every other part of the game). Thanks for the video, by the way, dont you have any clips of Mike taking hook shots, he looked really good doing them.

One of the reasons why he's my all-time favorite.

today i am 41 years old and i still get amazed how easy he made the game look.
It's easy when you practice
+Lucas Lehn cats practice everyday and they still can't make it look this easy
Michael Jordan was one of the best shooter of all time. He perfected his jump shooting ability. His jump shoot was so natural and automatically
Made the most of his long legs with his perfect footwork.
Poetry in motion!!
4:09 the best move for me in the entire BASKETBALL !
Kobe have this video at home and watch it everyday!
Had
Not anymore
He had his mannerisms down to a science. Even the inflection in his voice.
Really...Wow!!!
MJ the best 1 on 1 defence reader ever played. He can scores on the defenfer with 1000 different ways
Hftts Fjfdrhj I believe someone in the video said something to that effect lol
2:00

GOAT....No question....not even close...
Hakeem & Jordan, the original and still the best at the shake & fade/ shake up & under. Over the year many have followed, but Jordan oh my the grace and ease he does it is unbelievable and against more physical defense!
I agree! ua-cam.com/video/f3t7chA-3ak/v-deo.html
Not the original fadeaway creator but they were def the best at it and the shake
I was so lucky I saw this night in night out. I tell the younger generation no comparison he the goat. they go watch videos like this but honestly was even better cause like isaih said you never saw same move twice
kobe stole his moves. and i love it.
You could also say he adapted it but that's okay at least Kobe wasn't terrible at copying it.
Image the frustration watching them guarding him
UNSTOPPABLE 101... Class is in session
Mj23...the greatest of all time...
Usually don’t care for musical background but must say this is tasteful and right volume. Good job.
The best post-up move in nba history... So smooth and beautiful but powerful.
zzzzxxxx34 you are1000% correct.
I prefer Hakeem's. But Jordan is one of the bests.
@@TheoBurle
I agree.
Overall post moves gotta give it to the great Hakeem and Mchale, but the turn around fade away jumper belongs to the GOAT Jordan.
Triple threat at the top the key, post up, fade-away

Michael is unbelievable. If the defender managed to position the block (which was already a tremendous task) MJ could feint in the air to get rid of it. And still control the shot!
Guarding him must have been the worst of the jobs in the NBA.
One of the only players in nba history who is as effective with their back to the basket as they are facing it. Lost art for sure!

holy shit and any other adjective to describe being amassed by the splendor of a master of his craft. Imagine seeing da Vinci carving the statue of David
D Lowe dude, wth da Vinci didn't carve d statue of David. It was michaelangelo
rodette2010 yes I realized the mistake. thanks for the correction. should have said the Sistine chapel and many others. Both of those renaissance artist where awesome, like Mike. Thanks again for the correction.
A correction it was Michelangelo. Sorry for being a dumb ass.
rodette2010 I don't know what's worse the mistake or the fact no one caught it for 7 months. I hate looking like an idiot. But it makes me laugh at myself.
D Lowe don't be sorry or pity to yourself.. You're cool!
As a lebron fan and laker fan ima say Jordan is a basketball God! Two three-peats! Phenomenal I still can't believe it not being old enough to watch at that time it's crazy!
Excellent video dude..Lebron better add this to his offensive game.. Less GS will whoop the CAVS next season's finals too.
the father of basketball
Your vidz just make it more known that MJ is the greatest to ever play the game...A MAster...
4:13 Except for Hakeem Olajuwon, no player could easily use such moves anytime he wants. It was natural for MJ. It is sad that kids watching current NBA will only learn how to shoot 3pts or half court 3pts.
This is basketball at it's best it's just pure art for me this is skill not harden dribbling ball for 22 seconds than taking step back 3

Amazing footwork

@avid3810 It is fast and that is the reason for the travel. At the speed he's moving it is very tough to really plant his foot and not slide it. The very least it is better than some of those 4 steps to the basket we see nowadays...

Poor Rex Champman.

One of the all-time greats, no doubt. But if I'm starting a team, I'm picking Kareem first.
Easily in the top 1 players to ever play the game
素晴らしい
Prime Jordan would average 50 points a game in today's nba easily
Amen
Fact bro !!!
I have a serious question, how do you really guard this guy?
You don't, you just try your best and do a little better each time lol
god move
그냥 수비수들은 속으로

들어가네 젠장 . . '
Great video!!! What is the name of this song?
that signature move of mj23 never ever check...unlike lebron moves no footwork very slow and soft means amature moves
If lebron could learn low posts moves like THAT he might be able to take the goat spot. Kinda big to move like mj though
Kobes shit just wasn't as pretty either.
he moves his pivot alot, if you replay some of the moves in slow motion
Is he real?
@1:14
kobes fans. go watch it and tell me if thats kobes move. ahahaha.
