- We cleaned up the engine and engine bay on our Volvo 850 to get a cleaner space to work in once we start repairing and replacing engine parts, and we got out of our “comfort” zone by doing trying and doing something new in our video’s.

- Project’s Background Story -
On February 21 ’09 our dad bought this ’96 Volvo 850 2.5L 20V estate. The Volvo has a big emotional value for us and seeing the car sitting still for so many years and watching nature taking over broke our hearts. After nine years, and sitting outside for 7 of those 9 years, we finally got our hands on the 850 and brought it back to its home where we will restore it to its former glory. Once we finish the restoration, we intend to make a road trip and keep in the family for many more years to come. - Авто та транспорт

Will be exciting to get that order in. Regards talking on Camera, you just have to keep doing it and it will get a lot easier/natural. I guess it makes it a little harder because you are talking to each other in a foreign language, which must be a little strange. But your doing a great job. Looking forward to the next one. 👍

What do you need For
the engine
All filters (oil 2x, Air,fuel)
5l cheap oil with cheap filter to engine flush (15 min in neutral with no throttle)
Oil sump gasket,oil sump Clean inside and engine bearings Check)
New sparkplugs,new Timing belt with serpentine belt and all tensioners and rollers
Perhaps you can try out RVS for the engine? It helped a lot my old cars. Oil consumption reduced a lot with high mileage cars.
Had to look that up (RVS) and that does sound like something that might help indeed. Thanks for the advice!
Fantastic job guys ! Your videos are great to watch, for the coolant leak did you check the bottom of the radiator ? I think you should look at the PCV system if you keep this engine in the future.

Thanks! And the reason we want to replace the intake manifold is that we want as much of the LPG related stuff out of the car beacause, well, it runs on petrol now😜 We also don't like the look of it... 😅
cleaning the air-box but not opening it to check inside & filter...!!
Don't worry, we did clean that! Filter itself was also allready replaced😉
