And as always, happy flying! - Ігри
You are one of those guys who should get as many subs as Swiss001, Airforceproud95, TheFlightChannel etc.
I have a potato pc with Core 2 Duo in 2021, but I have 60 FPS cause of you!
Happy I could help!
Incredible man thank you so much, you know this helped me with one think I couldn’t solve for years , my computer run fsx in Max graph with 40-50 frames with no problem , airports like Kennedy or Heathrow work perfect and established 40-50 frames , but when I was selecting bad weather , too much clouds or rain or snow and a 777 or a 767 frames go down to 8-9 and now with your solution I have 30-40! Thank you so much!
is there any software that finds differences between frames in a recorded file and can interpolate missing ones? i have filmed a falling ballpen and magix interpolated frames for slow motion
OMG!!!! Thanks Dude you made my FSX Really works :D :D Working very Smoothly... :D
Haha so glad I could help out bro!
ok so i dont know how to down load the a2a plane again. i am at the website and it says i have to pay for it again
2021 and Is still helping people. Thanks
i have used fraps, but it does not interpolate during lower framerate parts
Holy shit dude you helped me a lot. Thanks!
No worries man. Happy flying!
Where can I find my FSX.xml File?
Hi dude, ive applied all your recommendations and mi sim starts having strange graphic errors like DX10 ones, and i discover than was the Bufferpoll, but is it important to get more fps? i will add everything you explained on the video but i wont add the BufferPoool
Hey Isaac, sorry for the late answer
Not using the tweaked buffer pools setting will slow down your game, especially in heavily populated areas. Make sure you're not using the "preview directX10" option in your settings unless you have steves DX10 Fixer, which you can find here: stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/how-to-purchase/ If you have any other questions please let me know
It stops loading when I go free flight now
if i installed it again would i lose my a2a airplanes and my other addon airplanes also
If you have the installers backed up, this shouldn't be a problem. You have to completely uninstall FSX. To do this run the uninstaller. After that make sure you delete the FSX folder so it's all gone. Then go to the appdata/roaming and delete FSX there too. Reinstall FSX to the directory you want and then just install back all the addons. I know it's a pain but in the end you will get better performance. Also back you your FSX.cfg so you can easily paste it into the roaming FSX folder later if you've tweaked it
Will this work on FSX Steam edition and also I don't have bufferpools on my fsx.cfg
Yes I believe so, and if you don't have anything in the cfg for buffer pools you need to add those lines.
[BufferPools]
Poolsize=0
UsePools=0
Hello, thx for your video, I'd like to ask, will it work if I just move the FSX folder from programs folder to :C? Or can it break something in the file system? Is it worth it?
It is a risky endeavour, as there are dependency files in your appdata and other places that have directories pointing to where the sim is now. I would advise against. Best bet is to COMPLETELY uninstall everything, there are guides, and then reinstall in a desired location.
@@Pilotfredrik thanks for the answer, I probably won't uninstall everything
Do you know how big FPS performance hit it has? Or it's just the loading times, since I don't care about that
@@dominikmilien having it in the default folder will throttle loading times, and so loading will naturally take longer, depending on other system loads (if you have a lot of system critical things running from program files 32 for instance). This can in theory also affect performance, but I don't think it is super noticable
@@Pilotfredrik ok, thanks
Although this doesn't really do anything it still looks the same. But it does give me 5 or 3 more frames. I don't know if that's a difference.
Haha time for you to go get P3D son FSX is allllllll outdated
lets say my fsx is in the x86 file how would u transfer to the smoother way?
Unfortunately, the only way without a total struggle is to uninstall flight sim and when you install again, click advanced options and make a folder in you drive and select that one to install flight sim in. Let me know if you need more help
also couldnt i just move my fsx file into the drive thing
No that won't work if you just drag it because he tweak file is linked to that directory so as soon as you change it stuff will start happening
i am not a a tech person. how do i back my whatever up
You can just delete your fsx.CFG file you have in your %appdata% and start FSX up again then it'll create a new fsx.CFG which is the default one for FSX :D
it works, i got 15-30 fps with captain sim 737 at medium graphics now im getting 25-30 fps in cockpit and outside view i got around 25-30fps now im getting 29-30 thanks so much
No problem man that's really great to hear!
+Oliver Donaldson oh dude could you give me your specs please?
4gb ram intel 3000 64mb intel i5 2.5ghz
Oliver Donaldson oh my god i have same computer
is it a dell?
last question how do i make sure i dont delete my a2a cessna 172 when i reinstall fsx. also explain using small words lol
Ok so do you still have the a2a installer in your downloads folder? If so you're good because what you will do is find your FSX disk, put it in, and uninstall. Once that's done you know where your FSX folder used to be(program files x86, Microsoft games, FSX) you need to completely delete that folder. Also after that's done open up windows search and type run. Then type %appdata% . Go to the Microsoft/FSX folder and delete that too. Run FSX disk and click advanced options to install in a directory you create yourself wherever you want to install it. (C:\FSX) is something like that. If you don't have a2a or other addons still in your downloads folder, go to the websites where you purchased them and you can download them again. Let me know if you still need assistance and I can skype call you or something and I can take you through step by step
thank you so much now my pmdg 737 fps is nice
Bufferpools to 0 tweak makes it stutter badly on my machine. Maybe something to do with my FSX being the steam-version. It's weird because it does actually improve the max fps. But then fly fast and low to the ground, and stutter-fest!
They have actually done some updates to the steam edition so perhaps do a fact check and use your tiny brain before you post a dumb comment like that
Spkier FSX Steam Edition changed some of the code in the game. Less autogen lag and performance is a bit more consistent (nothing too ordinary, FSX will be FSX and fucking lag)
My fsx.cfg contents are seems to me different from yours
Unsure of why this is, but you should still have the same contents and a search should find what you're looking for, if not you can manually add it. Anyways I moved from fsx to P3D and DCS a long time ago so if anything that's what I would recommend for you to do as well. Have a great day!
can't you give me a link to the cfg file since most of these things aren't in my cfg file thanks in advance!
You are supposed to add them manually, sorry this video is really old. I would honestly just recommend getting p3d instead. Wayyyy better and 64bit based as well
@@Pilotfredrik Thank Mate I think i'm going to check P3D out have a nice one
no more stuters
even with pool size=0 it still gives great fps
I cant seem to find the pool size thing
It really works, buy my Carenado G1000 doesnt work anymore, i have visual and sound, but buttons doesnt work, any ideas?
Oh boy you're on your own there sorry bud got no clue. Try reinstall or aircraft or addon you're using for the g1000 would be my first guess.
@@Pilotfredrik tks, i´ll try it!
i have a 1050ti but still only get 40 fps ?
@Macro i fixed it fsx relys on your cpu i have a ryzen 5 even the best cpu struggles to run fsx i just p3d v3 and i am getting 60 fps at ultra high everything
@Macro you can get a p3d v3 crack for free
ok it only took a second and your wrong about something. when you put frame rate on unlimited it doesn't improve performance. it makes it worse. you will have many more stutters that on a frame rate that is about 2 under what you normal get when set to unlimited. another thing if you up the cloud draw distance it harms performance hugely on AMD. though i have nvidia now so that setting doesn't make a huge difference on my old AMD car that setting took of about 10FPS if set past 80mi
Vid is old. Real men use P3D now :)
My aerosoft has a graphic error after i tweak this )):
Then something has been done wrong or it's something else. Just switch to p3d. Won't be any performance issues there
@@Pilotfredrik my pc incompatible
i dont have a skype
3:50 you good bro?
This was 5 years ago lol
Lmaoooo
This viedeo gabe me clmaudya
Usepools=0 and Poolsize=0 are the same thing. You don't need both.
Thanks for letting me know :)
Are you ever going to make a new video?
Yes sir I know it's been a while but I have just moved and I built a new computer but it's missing a graphics card which will be a GTX1080 when it's available. After that I will have the rig to be able to record ingame FSX videos and will keep uploading. I'm sorry I haven't gotten anything after this video but I have more tutorials and will upload flying videos as soon as I can.
iFSXpro HD How to you get all this moolah?
+TbonePlays I've been building computers and so I built one but it wasn't enough juice to record FSX so before moving, I had my confirmation and I got a lot of money so I decided to sell my old computer and build a new one which I finished the day that the moving truck left. I didn't get a graphics card since it wasn't widely available.
iFSXpro HD ah ha. I am poor af until next year when i get a job.
+TbonePlays Ah that sucks
WHats your GHz
Well I built a new PC and stuff so I might make another video on that where I'll post all my proper specs cause I don't remember on this PC haha
do you want to just call
Yeah here add me on skype it's pilotfredrik and I'll call as soon as I can cause I just moved half the world. Also this is my other channel haha I forgot to change it so that's why this is the channel responding
Hell, now can't reinstall it outside programfiles and lose all the addons
Sorry to hear that. Have you tried to follow the various internet guides to a full uninstall? If you don't follow those then you will have left over files scattered and that could be what's causing your issue
@@Pilotfredrik did it with revo uninstaller and now fsx is completely vanished... Thanks for your feedback
I cant use the properties and the fsx.exe thing
Can you please describe your problem more clearly and I will see what I can do
you know the properties on the FSX.exe, I don't have all of those stuff, and I cant find FSX.exe on it.
+SkyPilot 737 if you installed FSX to the default folder it will be in C/program files x86/Microsoft games/ Microsoft flight simulator X. I believe it's like that. You will find a FSX.exe somewhere low in that folder and you right click it, properties, compatibility, run as administrator.
um. I cant go further than run as administarator
+SkyPilot 737 you check the box and hit apply on the bottom, then ok
Yay no more 30 fps
Good to hear. Get Prepar3D and you'll have over 60. It's FSX source code but updated by Lockheed Martin . Much better on modern systems
Now I’m stuttering like crazy
Try deleting your fsx.xml and let it regenerate by loading sim again
your specs?
I don't remember what I was using at that time, but currently I'm using:
Processor/CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700k Sky Lake Motherboard: Asrock Extreme 6
Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H115i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz
Disk Space: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (for operating system)
WD Blue 1TB (for everything else)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, 80+ GOLD 850W
Oh Boy! Yo dont need tweaking for this configuration
whats your number
Sorry I didn't get to you earlier I just moved so I didn't have a number but now I do 406-76-059
only one thing to do get P3D
agreed
iFSXpro HD Eh, P3D costs too much to migrate to if you’ve used FSX for a long period of time. Also, the performance is still bollocks as it runs on the same engine as FSX
@@theobserver4214 that is true to some extent. However, 64 bit will blow your mind. Performance has also been further optimized so there's plenty of reason to step up
Oof too much steps ;-;
wow fix fps for fsx
What a scrub
