@@Matteomeier I used to regularly drive past one of these, which often parked in the same place and had been fitted with big, aggressive tyres. I used to think that it looked really cool, and wonder why such vans weren't more popular for leisure use.
Vantastic! Thank you Matteo, always good fun to be able to visit you in the cool rc garage, greatly appreciated, naturally, but worth an extra mention :-)
first off great video...i have a question..i just got the tamiya hilux grill with the cchand hilux emblems for the front grill and left and right side of the hardbody....which product is ''BEST'' to hold the emblems on the rc4wd hardbody and the tamiya hilux grill i have??...i seen your painting video on the tamiya hilux orange and brown body....but at the end you didnt show the emblems getting put on the front part of the tamiya hilux grill??....i just dont wanna mess this up..any feedback is greatly appreciated...
@@dmedford5 It should. MST made this chassis to be a "fix" for all the Tamiya CC bodies that are live axle irl and stuck on a ifs chassis. They actually come with drive shaft and link pieces to match the 3 wheelbase variants of the CC01 :)
Looking forward to your build. I have my eye on this kit. Unfortunately it'll be months before we get these in the US and the freight from overseas suppliers on kits is sky high at the moment.
i have to say the kit is really high quality, from the looks of it. but what cheeses me off is that this isn't to scale; the real delica has front macpherson struts and independent arms
@@Matteomeier i have 2 CC01. 1 NIB and 1 inherited from my friend. i havent had time to touch either yet, but would u have any idea if i can somehow use the plastic mounting parts on the CC01 as well?
This should be possible. The CC-01 also have body mounting posts. It would be best to drill the holes in the body there to correspond with these mounts.
What a refreshingly different body choice!
Yes, it truly is! 😊👍

The emblems from Tamiya are self adhesive. Are the CChand not self adhesive? If so I would recommend something like a spray type glue.
@@Matteomeierno buddy..the cchand ones are not self adhesive...there thin metal emblems...so what glue should i use a tiny bit of e6000 clear ?
Cooles Teil Matteo - das ist echt mal was anderes und sieht echt gut aus! Hat sogar echt gute Böschungswinkel.
Danke Robert! Ja, bin auch gespannt wie er fertig aussieht!
I know the CFX is a really well made platform but I want to put that body on a CC01 for authentic suspension.
It probably would fit!
