Dealing with the same thing in Hamburg Township. Cops showed up at my house and told me there is a ordinance that we can not ride a atv utv or dirt bike on our property. We have 20 plus acres. This is bull shit. We are going to fight for are rights. We all need to get together and fight for this. Please help thanks

How are they finding out your even riding? If your riding right next to the property line, well your kind of asking for it. Just keep riding while trying to respect your neighbors.
So what if they are near a property line? Thats what they pay taxes for! Especially in new york. I'm about 30 mins south east of hamburg and I don't have that issue. As long as ur not making a ton of noise after 11pm who cares? Why don't they tell the real story? The last "owners of the property" left all kinds of things, animals and or chemicals buried in the ground on that property. The City doesn't want it stirred up and unburied or released into the air and water. If I were you guys, I'd sell and move to a more rural area. One that doesn't have a Jack@ss local government.. They don’t need to be titled in registered in Michigan. Just orv stickers. Almost every county has an ORV ordinance. Some cities don’t allow it though. But the majority do.

Somebody turned just 10 of them lose on the north side of the town I used to live at, mid 2000, during the spring and summer them fuckers would go off around 1am through 5am. The local PD would receive about 100 phone calls on how loud they were...

That’s rough, I liked the track battles. I got 17 acres I started making a track on, I’d say bring that dozer and a few units on over, do a little work and take rip but it’s at least a 9hr drive into Canada lol
You could see that happening from day one. Needed to plant a corn boundary while waiting for the bamboo outer barrier to grow in.
Turn it into a junkyard. All that open land would be a great junkyard.

If part of the problem was noise, I understand that the freedom to do whatever you want on your property should never infringe on the next person's freedom to peace and quiet, but it seems like y'all had a decent relationship with you neighbors. That said, if this is just a zoning issue where these assholes in the local governing body are just on a power trip, well, I guess it's just a good example of this tyrannical government that's so popular these days.

Had the same thing happen up here in the north western part of Michigans lower peninsula. Buddy of had a big dirt bike track build racing on his property which is pretty much all farm land. This would've brought a lot of ppl into the area and help the businesses, which really could use it around here. Well to many ppl bitched and it was shut down. But then everyone will cry cuz things are bad and businesses cant survive, but when someone tries to help out and change that they get $hit on.
That sucks. Hopefully you can get a new place soon

I'm thinking move to Florida and have Cleetus find you a defunct dirt track venue of some sort. Could be a nice joint venture. Anyone could see this wasn't going to last.
I've had this problem before in won. How is the property zoned? Zoning can make or break you so it could be zoned in your favor especially if it's zoned rural, farming and or commercial.

I passed the track today. It looked a little browner than normal but I just figured it was the morning dew.... And then when I passed it on the way back from the customer's house. I saw a dude on a four-wheeler ripping through the yard towards the bulldozer and wondered what was going on
