I'm assuming that the soil at the site is highly contaminated and the town doesn't want them kicking up a bunch of contaminated dust and airborne particulates.
it is so sad this has happened. I've been around since 2018, long time fan. this was friends having fun together and to see the somber moments, really shows life rollercoaster. sometimes the good guys don't win, but they're always strong.

My dad was in the navy 1969 as a radio operator on a destroyer..he came into contact with agent orange..he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had 1/3 of his bladder removed in 1999 he was diagnosed with parkinsons..both caused by agent orange..he died in 2007 a few months before his 57th bday from bladder cancer
Sorry about your father. However, my grandma had Parkinson and later died from cancer. She wasn't exposed to agent orange either. I'm not saying exposure isn't toxic, but medical issues happen as you get older.

You expected something different? These guys are the kings of beating around the bush.
So it all makes sense now, it's not that they don't want you ripping around on SXS's out of respect of the land it's because of the potential chemicals and substances in the ground being disturbed and becoming airborne. We have many places in Australia with the same rules as we have a lot of naturally occurring asbestos here.

it does make sense, however they should have been made aware of that prior to purchase.
@@digger450r 2 things I can think of there, that would effect the value of tha land and they probably didn't foresee the place being turned into a racetrack but I agree things like this should have been made known prior to purchasing.
When I heard DOW owned it, the first thing I thought of was contaminated soil. Living in one of the other places DOW, Dupont, Monsanto and Union Carbide have occupied over the years has been an experience. I know it feels like a setback, but count your blessings you're leaving sooner than later.
I think its actually legally required for contamination to be disclosed when selling property.

I know of a few cities in Arkansas that allow atv's but they'd probably run into the same problem anywhere other than away from cities
