Sometimes these live, super jams for whatever purpose brought together, don’t work that well, but this is one of the great Classics of all time in live jams!!! OMG I’ve never heard a better combination ever, I don’t think!!!…and you can tell they all feel it happening!!! absolutely extraordinary. Love this one!!
no it wasn't I was there...Joe was drinkin a Heineken, and Clapton was the MC..Ron joined in on this number, he covered it on his Gimme Some Neck album. I also met him that night , what an amazing and down to earth guy...luv Ronnie
The great Joe Cocker. No other voice has ever had the depth he had. Unfortunately, he rarely got to use it to full advantage. The greatest white blues singer of all time.
This should have a million views just to watch Ronnie and Eric make it happen, Charlie and the other drummers are having a blast, then Joe with his smokey voice man thanks for posting this. You got to love the rabbit hole of music posted here thank you again.
Have you seen the version on the Bob Dylan Tribute show from I think 1992. Ronnie Wood and Steve Cropper is on fire. Plus Ronnie sounds good on that one.
I am a huge Ronnie Woods fan, but singing is not his best quality. OMG. You couldn’t of picked a more perfect person than Joe Cocker!! This is beyond believable, the most exceptional version ever made of this song.
Another one of those “without Mick Taylor, he made the Stones a great blah, blah, blah band” guys ripping on Woody again. Always the cheap shot from the cheap seats.
Not thrilled with this version despite the lineup. Ron should have sung it. And he is in not on fire guitar wise. I have seen Wood live really tear it up. Ray Cooper is intrusive too. The ARMS tour. RIP Ronnie Lane.
OMG I could not disagree with you more!!! WTF and Joe Cocker makes this the greatest version of this song ever done with this ensemble right here!!! And Ronnie’s creative lick, was fricking off the cuff and incredible and they’re all in the groove in response to it!!!
Este disco lo compre en el año 83.84 y a este video lo vi resien e los noventa y pico en un pap de villa de voto m rre emosione como un chico grande coker wood charli wat claton wiman😂
Sean, you couldn’t be more wrong!! Ronies set the tempo for the whole song with that extraordinary solo. I don’t know what in the heck you were listening to OMG. I think he caught Clapton offguard a little bit. Ronnie tends to want to wing it. it, but that was improvisation perfection and all the band reacted to it incredibly!!!

Every body is right there. And loving it
You kidding me. This is classic. I'm happy to hear and this. And I'm passing it on
Billy Wyman & Charlie Watts!
The two drummers are Kenney Jones & Ray Cooper.
Wow Kenny Jones and Charlie Watts on drums too. This is great.
And Bill Wyman on bass
Nicky Hopkins on keyboards. This was at the Dylan tribute gig in ‘83.
Nicky ❤❤❤

you forgot Gregg allman
Gregg Allman. Stevie Ray Vaughan. Terry Kath. David Clayton Thomas.
@@El_Jackalope not even close
@@thomaselliott573 aping Ray Charles makes him the greatest? What about John Belushi aping Cocker?
And Paul Rodgers.
Brilliant! That´s the sound i like!
It often how you feel not how you sound that makes a great live performance!

that is the performance I was looking for when I came on this ...
yeah that's the best. The audio is still on youtube, but the video was taken down for some reason, unfortunately.
Yep, I tried to post it from a VHS recording I made back then, it's blocked :-(
@@gstouff that is the best one
No wonder cant find original video for that show. That version kills.....
Wow Learnin all the time...Dylan wrote the song and Ron wood first recorded It...I just knew about Joe Cocker on the 1982 Sheffield Steel Album
Bobby Dylan gave his best songs to Ronnie and Jimmy
True
Woody should have sang it
No need
He sang it on the "neck-album"!
No. Absolutely not. He can't sing.
I am a huge Ronnie Woods fan, but singing is not his best quality. OMG. You couldn’t of picked a more perfect person than Joe Cocker!! This is beyond believable, the most exceptional version ever made of this song.
Dylan bootleg is the best, IMO. "My beautiful comrade from the north!"
All Star Cast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a FUCKEN group playing Dylan like nobody can, and Joe bellowing away
Merci Joe Cocker, Merci Ron Wood, Merci Eric Clapton c'est que du bonheur !
they screwed up the lead,, and laughed about it,,, too cool!
Hadn’t noticed. Thanks for pointing that out. Clapton, Watts, Cocker AND! Woods
Cool as hell.
Great Joe
What a band!!!
The ARMS
Ronnie!!
I really dig when Ronnie and Eric start playing off each other and looking in each other's eyes. No 11 note is just as goods the next
Ronnie was the only one playing Eric was trying to figure wtf was he doing
Joe kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can Someone please tell me what concert this is from. I'd really like to see the whole show
wow, sorry Shakespeare.
Where Woody and Clapton are just l👀king at each other.....
Wow 🥰
Ah yes, the great moments when neither Eric nor Ronnie wanted the solo.
Cabezas de la buena musica.
Videos que vale la pena tener en nuestros canales:
The disc jockey that i was the 70's can still dream thanks to you !
Ronnie Wood is BEGGING Eric to help him salvage his solo and Clapton shakes his head NO !!
That was fucked up. Ronnie is one of my favorite guitar players ever. Faces and Stones with Ronnie are the best ever.
I think he just asked if the chord would change... they keep playing in one chord instead of changing like the chorus
Another one of those “without Mick Taylor, he made the Stones a great blah, blah, blah band” guys ripping on Woody again. Always the cheap shot from the cheap seats.

Que lindooooooo!! Yo tenía el disco de Ron Wood dónde toca este temazo de Dylan.

As a bob fan I think ppl normally butcher his songs but I like this 👍
Joe....Ron....Eric.....wooow!....no coment!!!!....
Verdade..true ....i.like too
Genial Joe Cooker

Yea, I got to say I don't think I have ever seen Ronnie that disconnected. Ray Cooper is too much.

all good, but not the metal drumkit, thats gay
Fantástico nice lêgênds congratulations😮😮😮😮👍🙏
pourquoi mettre Ron Wood,évidement je le vois a coté de clapton mais c'est joe cocker qui chante,il en existe une version chantée par ron wood aussi

brian elliot THANKS!
brian is right when he said Ray Cooper is the drummer.
Casey, that's Ray Cooper, pretty famous session percussionist over the years.

Clapton has lost his way. His style of playing here is what made him rich and famous. Here he plays for the song. No more of that.
He's letting Ronnie do his thing as he covered it on his solo LP.
molto bene
Jelena Todorovic.
I learned in Crystal City, VA when I worked there. Brit's rule.
Ron can't, or won't, solo to save his own skin.
Cause the band had to switch to another chord but they didn't.
I wonder if Clapton is a big enough man to share the spotlight ...
Here is Ron playing lead ... ua-cam.com/video/gckGvo3SWok/v-deo.html
@@markinirvine Well he's done it enough times plus he's got nothing to prove,

Yup , this one worked!!!
Joe Cocker - mediocrity in music! No voise, there are not songs! Even as an alcoholic - mediocrity 100%
The great Joe
