It’s a different situation at a Stones show. There is incredible pressure from every angle, and they all know it will be closely reviewed. Even from Mick and Keith there is high expectations. I go to every tour and have often stayed at the same hotels. We often bump into them and sometimes have a quick drink with them. Even from their security guys their is pressure. During Covid it was ridiculous how much security there was. They all were testing every day. I was in the stadium in Amsterdam waiting for the show to start. One of the other good fans walked over to me and I knew it was cancelled before even said anything. And also the next show in Switzerland. So we flew from America and had 2 shows gone. Just having breakfast in the hotel you could see the tension with the security guys. Ronnie said he felt everything with them. Every little thing that was expected.

I totally agree. Ronnie is my favorite guitarist ever. Does a fantastic job with The Rolling Stones, was fantastic with the Faces but his solo work is when he gets to really shine on guitar. God bless you Ronnie for entertaining me for so many years!

@@commonyetrare No, it was Ronnie Wood. His only vocal with the Faces. A lot of people have thought it was Stewart because it's so close to Rod's later version.
I saw this show at The Ritz theater in NYC, it was great. Charley was backstage too. I always loved Ronnie, and him playing with Bo was a precious moment in time.
They're both amazing musicians and amazing people, I love 'em! Lotsa luv from a shitty town in Holland! (But.. with a little weed and a lot of great music we manage to survive.. heyho!) Bo's a great drummer too, it got lots of feel..
At the beginning of "Who Do You Love" Ron Wood straps on a blue guitar. When they actually start the song he is playing a different guitar. Saw Bo Diddley in 1999 at "The Hootenanny" at Oak Canyon Ranch in Irvine Ca. He was the headliner.

I wonder how this video was cut. Ronnie is starting to prepare to "Who do you love" with blue ESP and in a moment is playing his Strat until end of this song. At 14:30 we see, after end of this song, that Ronnie is changing guitars, and he is taking the Strat! So obviously video was cut from two different shows ;)

Bo Diddley- are you kidding me! One of the major roots of the tree 🌳 we call rock 🎸 and roll. The instrument people used who couldn't get a proper guitar, was called a diddley bow, strings on a board, or even wires on the side of a shack or house. (!) So Bo Diddley reversed the name and went on stage. Ronnie Wood- what a life and musical career 👏 .
Great version of Mona. Mona was actually put out by the Rolling Stones on the flip side of Not Fade Away. Mona was almost 4 minutes long and the commercial stations wouldn't play Mona. Not Fade Away (Buddy Holly cover) becama a hit. It was only about 2 mins long. Good to see Ronnie & Bo play Mona.
Bo could just tune those strings till they just cried, no great guitarist could ever get the soul out of that box guitar like the Alabama sheriff that was almost forcing Bo to take his voice to that raw of a level and he just brought the band, no matter who they were, to a new blues level
Should be called the Bo Diddley Buddy Holly rock and roll hall of fame. These two gave everyone the beat and cords to make r/r. Keep that rap shit out in the streets where it belongs
Bo can't help himself when there is a drum set around. Bo would love to have been a drummer but said he couldn't get used to moving his feet correctly. But he does an OK job.
Obviously, this recording comes, either from two different shows or maybe something funny happened -he dropped the Tele, most likely- and they edited that bit.
Bo’s recount of Elvis is so off the mark, bless his heart. Elvis was the bridge. Couldn’t have been ANYONE else at that time. Even his name! Imagine if it was “Eddie”or “Mike”??? Everything perfect. Bo was a great pioneer, but Elvis was the comet.
Ronnie ALWAYS plays more ferocious off the Stones’ leash.

初めて見たホンモノのロックンロールコンサート。懐かしい、いい時代。
One thing about Ron is he’s great at guitar, but when he’s not fronting, he knows to hang back a bit and doesn’t try to steal the show
Ron Wood, the Hemi engine in the Faces, been propping up the Stones for years. Always the best band mate you could play with...
He’s great but the best rhythm section on the planet: Charlie, Bill & Keef, didn’t need propping.
Bad is Bad
当時、高校生だったけど衝撃うけたよ!会場で買ったロニーのサイン入りポスターは今も額に入れて飾ってあるし、サンプラザの裏口で出待ちしたのも思い出であり宝物です。
Glad I saw Bo in '98 and '02 before he died. Legend!
Ronnie has such a raw gritty voice and a happy go lucky personality in addition to his fantastic guitar playing 😄❤️❤️
Ronnie Wood has a very great voice..the performance n his voice looks like Rod Steward.. Cool cool cool.. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
