Thankfully Spoony wasn't completely right about the tiger. From the research I've done there were actually two tigers. The film director of the first movie called in a professional animal handler who had the tigers put under anesthesia and had their fur dyed with edible food coloring. Unfortunately as can some times happen with felines, one of the tigers didn't wake up. The director apparently felt very horrible about the whole thing, but he wasn't the one that called for the tigers to be dyed, so Spoony was right in that a tiger did die, but it wasn't from the dye they used on him.
Just wanted to say, thanks for the info and I didn't think Don C. was the type to do such a terrible thing. Of course, I'm just judging from 5 minutes, at a comiccon and Fangoria Interviews! Lol Did you learn this info from a personal sorce an article from 'Starlog' or a similar magazine? Incredible as it may sound. I never saw these movies growing up. I knew of their existence from Fangoria (I'm a big fan of Don's other Super creation, Phantasm) and naturally, Spoony's reviews. I actually still haven't seen the full films and I'm in the 40's... I also live in Canada and we didn't have the movies on t.v. every week, like I've heard they were, in the U.S. on TBS(?) So cheers to you. Thanks for the info and if you, (or anyone else) has a source, for the info, lmk. Thanks.
21:08 - He's NOT running in place and that is not a fake backdrop. It's a perspective illusion due to him being far from a camera equipped with a telescopic lens.
I thought the same thing but I wasn't as wise back then and still find it funnier to think of him just saying, 'I want out of this movie' and then start running away...but like in a Nightmare, making little progress. Also, the Tiger seems to say uck it and Just goes off looking for something more interesting. Maybe even looking for Tanya Roberts! Or Marc Singer. :)
@@Pocketrocket-pj1us It's a funny idea in itself, but it makes the review less funny when Spoony, either intentionally or unintentionally, speaks misinformation just to make the movie seem worse than it is. Would have worked better if he qualified it with, "Yeah, I know it's just an optical illusion, but it's funny to think..."
So do I but his health is my first concern. I just want him to be content and happy. Please don't think I'm insinuating you feel different. I realise that I kind of jumped on that. Lol It's just, I have many family members who have struggled through different forms of mental illness and addictions. The world has changed a lot in 20 years and the empathy & sympathy, for those who suffer, has grown! Of course there is always a darkside, who think differently but I think, I hope, that Noah does what's best for him. That's not to say, I wouldn't kill for something new, in the old style but as long as the previous content is still available, my appetite will be satiated and I'll try to remain hopeful. We do have a lot of great content, from a comedic genius! :) Throughout history many geniuses have also suffered from mental illness. A gift and a curse. Or, 'the joke the Gods played on us!' ;) Cheers from Canada
That's difficult because it's hard to separate all of the horrible Highlander sequels... but considering how few people saw the original Beastmaster compared to the original Highlander I guess I'd say Highlander 2 is worse (when the entire history is considered.)
There was a scene where the villain uses his power (which was never mentioned up to that point) to steal the memories of a guard who was stationed at that base.
I prefer to go by the "Plinkett way" If it's not in the movie, it's a plothole. Of course when you like a film, you will excuse small errors but if you hate it. You'll tear it apart, nit picking and being as pedantic as possible. I've read the novelization of Halloween 1 and 2 but if don't hold it against fans, who haven't. To each his own. Cheers.
+Rabbi Shlomo Shekelberg-Rubingoldstein You mean like how they pay imbeciles to provide mediocre repetitive entertainment to tune of millions of dollars? What do they call them oh that's right they're called actors.

OMG Wings Hauser. If you've never seen Mutant or Nightmare at Noon, YOU NEED TO. Especially with Rifftrax.
I miss spoony

Thank god I never watched this because the first one is one of my all time favorites. Wonder if this is any worse than the HORRIBLE Highlander 2?
That's difficult because it's hard to separate all of the horrible Highlander sequels... but considering how few people saw the original Beastmaster compared to the original Highlander I guess I'd say Highlander 2 is worse (when the entire history is considered.)
I loved the first movie, glad I never saw this as a kid. Would have spoiled my memories of the first.

12:23 Me at one point while watching Captain Marvel last night.
Это обзорщик с сайта TGWTG Benzaie(Бензай), и это танец из его обзора на International Karate Plus (типа щютка).
Круто, спасибо!
Неожиданно. Я думал что это из какой-то FMV игры(я так думал из-за качества голоса)

19:08 Wait the villain from a primitive world knows what a car is and knows how to drive it? How? Why?
There was a scene where the villain uses his power (which was never mentioned up to that point) to steal the memories of a guard who was stationed at that base.
Spoony didn't mention it in this review.
hey some of us acselly like conan the destroyer
I take it you never read the book the movie is "based on". It takes place in the future.

I can't believe people give this man absurd amounts of money now to talk about old DnD games he's played
Andrew Whittaker Well, gee. When you put it like that, man, it almost sounds absurd.

Did he just say Magog? Were they attempting a Lovecraft reference??
Nah, there's no way they were that intelligent.
_
Yeah, Magog is a biblical reference. Gog and Magog, from the book of revelations.
