How do you determine the drill if you dont know the rivet size off hand??

You'd check for the rivet size off your plans. You'll also learn to recognize the difference between a 30 and 40 pretty quickly.

@@CleavelandTool thank you for your response. What if you dont have any plans? Would you just base it off of the head diameter? 1.5 times the diameter is a properly formed head.
