Hello Becky! I enjoyed your podcast very much! It’s a poignant milestone for me to watch the beautiful person you’ve become. It’s an honor and joy to claim you… Ma
Beautiful zinnias! We just cut everything down this past weekend (snow is potentially coming this weekend...don't think it'll stick but that still means the garden has to be cleaned up or we'll regret cleaning up a soggy/frozen garden later). I LOVE your Penguono - it's on my list (oh the ongoing queue...not complaining, just a fact lol) and I've been thinking of a pink, mauve, brown, cream palette of leftover Linen Quill yarns to knit it with. Maybe it'll be a spring 2024 project. The color combo you've picked out for our husband's hat is PERFECTION. Your set-up for this episode is so calming and pleasing - great lighting, great resolution, pretty plants. Great job Becky! So glad you took the leap to start a channel. Excited you're here! ~Stephanie
Hello there! Welcome to the UA-cam hitting community! My name is Stephanie and I live in Clovis California. Take care and looking forward to seeing you grow on UA-cam
Hi! I so enjoyed your first episode! I'm watching in Broomfield, CO. I'm originally from Heber Springs, AR and went to college at Lyon in Batesville, AR. I love watching knitters from Arkansas!
Hi Becky, just found your videos. I'm in central New Jersey. That is so cool that you knit and you penpal!! Me too! Some evenings, I knit and other times I'll answer a letter. Loved your sweater too.
Lovely first podcast! I am tuning in from Kamloops, B.C., Canada. I used to sew, but never very well. I have been a knitter for as long as I can remember. My mum taught me to knit and I loved knitting with her when I lived at home. Most of my knitting has been baby sweaters and accessories and only recently have I started knitting socks and adult sweaters (although I did knit myself a sweater, and my boy friend too, when I was in high school). It took me 45 years to make another- lol! So now you can do the math and know that I am definitely a senior- mother of 5, grandmother of 11.
Hello Becky. I really enjoyed your first podcast, you did a great job 👍🏼 I live in the county of Kent in England. Kent is known as the Garden of England as a lot of produce is grown here such as 🍎🍏 🍐🍒 🍓🍑🍅🥒🥬🥕 I hope you continue to podcast as you’re a natural. Sending love from 🏴🇬🇧 Sam xxx
Hello Sam from the garden of England! I think you should introduce yourself like that always. I would. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!❤
That burgundy really compliments your hair colour and skin. I know within a couple minutes if I'm going to like a podcast and yup, subscribed right away! Great sense of humour.
Thank you! Loved your video . I knit. I used to do lots of sewing ( 6+ years of 4-H sewing projects…. Then I went to Market Steers and did Beef project, loved ). So fast forward Knitting . Making currently Aimee Sher Coloring Book Tee ( second one). We live in MI. ( should I say stuck in MI)? A CA., born/raised farm girl from San Joaquin Valley…… my husband loves his job and so we are here. Love the podcast from you and Kaci too. Wish I could do a Rhinebeck travel….cannot. Enjoy those fun dreamin’ outfits. All look so cute. I will look forward to next one.
What an AMAZING first episode! This was awesome. I love your shirt, your penguino, your hat and vest! Super excited to see your sewing plans take shape. If y’all are reading this and haven’t subscribed ya better!
Hi Becky. You're a beautiful knitter. I love what you're making for Rhinebeck. I hope it's cool that weekend. It hasn't been during the festival for some time. I'm in NY. Take care!
Yay for you for starting a podcast! Love the content but having hard time paying attention to anything but your absolutely GORGEOUS hair ! So envious! :) Looking forward to more episodes
Knitters Unite :) Congrats on launching your UA-cam channel ! Your Penquono looks like FuN to wear, even with jeans...and your garden flowers are beautiful ! Go forth and conquer ! lol from Michigan
Hi Becky. Just watched your first video and really enjoyed hearing about all your projects. Some lovely yarn that you are working with. I'm from Manchester, England. I hope that you will enjoy your UA-cam venture and will post regularly 😊 Aly.
Good work on your first podcast! I am tuning in from just outside of Portland Oregon on the Columbia River. I can’t wait to see you and Kacey and NY Sheep & Wool!
Nice first episode ❤! I listen to your audio podcast with Kaci; I’m from MA. Hope to see you at one of the rhinebeck events, I’m furiously knitting my sweater-and you’ve inspired me to knit a hat for my husband. He graciously joins a lot of yarnie events with me and is very knit worthy 😂❤
I am so happy you started this podcast! I met you and Kaci at the Arkansas Yarn co. I recognize Laci but not you right away. You showed on Kaci podcast long time ago and didn’t connect the dots right away. I am from Italy , but I live in Little Rock. I Kirsten to the pod cast and I was so curious to se the colors of your pinguano. I love it! It is so symmetrical that looks more a store cardigan , than a left over ones Hope you will keep podcasting and hope you will give good advise for the garden as well
Woohoo!! Love hearing you on the YFK pod, now super excited that you are dipping your toe into the knitcast waters! 😁💚🧶 I kept meaning to look up the penguono(?) and boy and howdy that’s a lot of work! Job well done! 😁 You are so relatable and rocking that silver hair! As others have said, if you enjoy this format, I am here for more! 🧶💚 - knitting here in South Alabama, so I feel you on that heat and humidity y’all have!!
Enjoyed your first UA-cam..I’m in hot springs Arkansas..not quite a year..I didn’t know about the yarn crawl here..but hope to find out about the next one !! nicely paced and your voice was good to listen to s well as seeing your work .thanks for sharing!!
I’m watching you from my verandah in country NSW Australia- we recently moved here to the bush and 12 acres from Sydney and we love it. Your vest is gorgeous, I just finished mine and wore it to knitting group yesterday
I''m watching from the Canadian Selkirk's (a mountain range sometimes considered part of the Rockies) in British Columbia. We don't really have any wool/sheep related festivals, but the fall fairs usually have lots of stuff for us fiber enthusiasts :)
It was good to see your finished Penguino! I'm torn between the Tessellated sweater and vest. The vest will be easier to do with old stash and avoids sleeves but I do have a "More is more" mentality about a stitch pattern I like so....
Thanks so much for watching, Michelle! I will say that the vest grows sloooooowly. If that makes any difference to you. But, it’s definitely a lovely pattern.
Hi Becky! So happy to watch your first solo episode. You did an amazing job! I'm Jacqueline and I am a Canadian living in Japan. I have lived here for 28 years with my husband and raised our 3 daughters here. I love to knit with woolly yarn, sew and do other handwork occasionally.
Hi Becky! You have such beautiful knitting! I love your podcast, and now I want to make a penguono- yours is beautiful 🤩 haha I hear you about the gloomy yarn attacking the nose! Haha😂
Hi there, Becky! So glad you are here! I’m a Northwest Arkansas knitter and LOVE seeing snippets of your neck of the woods. You’re garden is delightful! And you put out chill vibes and my kind of humor. Good job!
Gold hall shawl by Nicole... From the common fiber would be awesome in that gold color!!! I'm from Northern NY... Think as close to Canada as Rhinebeck is to NYC!
Loved this!! and pleeeease that Penguono is stunning!! Thank you for sharing and, if you keep enjoying doing this, I will definitely follow your creative journey!🥰
Hi Becky! I so enjoyed watching. I'm enjoying from south central New Hampshire, and am on the #rhinebeckcaravankal train. :) Looking forward to hopefully getting to meet you at Wool and Folk or Rhinebeck this year!
Watching from NW Arkansas. I had no idea there had been a yarn crawl until I visited Mena the first week in August. All the shops in my area have closed unfortunately.
I'm so curious how your husband's hat turns out. I love blue but it's not that easy to find colourwork inspiration that doesn't involve too light colors. And recently I've been curious to mix dark blue with a kind of coppar tone so really looking forward to see the hat. 🙂 I also really hope you'll keep doing the video podcast, I'm enjoying to watch you. 🙂 Greetings from Sweden.
started watching this video while on my way back home from my trip but then my wifi got cut off again, so I'm finishing watching it today! great job ❤ I really enjoyed watching and putting a face to your beautiful voice that I so far only knew through your audio podcast :) welcome to the podcasting community!!
