- A host at an International House of Pancakes restaurant is mortified that she didn’t recognize funnyman movie star Adam Sandler when he came in looking for a table with his daughter. When Dayanna Rodan was approached by Sandler, she said she didn’t recognize him, and told him there was a 30-minute wait. Sandler politely left, and didn’t pull the “do you know who I am” card, which is getting him a lot of praise. Dayanna told Inside Edition, “if he’s watching this, I’m so sorry! Please come back!” #InsideEdition

He was at a hotel I worked at a few years ago. Nothing fancy. He was having breakfast alone and some kids recognized him, approached him, and he was like a favorite uncle to them. He couldn't have been nicer. We were so impressed. The man has no ego. He's just s good, genuine human being.

I met Sandler at a restaurant and he was very kind and polite to the staff. He's smart enough to know that you shouldn't be an ass to the people who handle your food. LOL
