- EMOTIONAL BIG CHOP. It was not easy for me to cut my hair after growing it out. I never cut my hair EVER before so this was something new for me. Watch me go through a roller coaster of emotions because I decided I wanted to cut my hair.

Yes I thought when I cut it I’d instantly grow it back but I’m loving the short!
My hair is so damaged I said to myself before the end of the year I need to cut all off, so it can grow back hopefully better, I never chopped my hair before, but lm ready.

I went through a traumatic relationship pregnancy and birth I combed out my locs but I still feel the weight and energy attached to me I’m watching this video as I comb out my hair and say good bye…. Thank you for the confidence and comfort ❤️💯

I just did the big chop 1 day after my 24th birthday . I didn’t even cry or nun like yea I look like someone grown son but it’s coo I feel a sense of freedom …
I seen a pic that said it’s just hair let it go it holds bad memories. I think that helped me with grieving my hair ….
So now I’m day 2 of big chop excited to see where it’ll be next year !
Everyone’s reaction is different but essentially you’re right, just let it go. Hair grows back better after you cut it 😁

Woohooo rock it girl! I'm proud of you! I know it can be hard - but I'll tell you one thing, once you see yourself with short hair, you never go back! Bald/TWA Baddie status activated! The first time I ever cut my hair is when I was 9 or 10. I've love it ever since! And yes, too much maintenance for long hair! Cheering for you on the other side of the screen!
Aw, watching you cry made me get emotional as well. Im trying to decide if i want to cut my locs off. Ive NEVER had short hair in my life, but before getting my locs i bleached and dyed my hair so much that my locs are unhealthy and i just wanna start over😕. My hair is literally my everything to me and i already know im going to be bawling my eyes out whenever i decide to chop em off😭! You look so beautiful!!
You should try it especially if you think youre hair is unhealthy! Your hair will grow back quicker than you think. I hope you make that decision 🫶🏾

I cried from the start until she start cutting it because it’s so true we carry so much through our hair !!!! And I’m getting ready to cut my locs for the second time because they’re so thin and not growing like the first time around , I’m just over it and I’m just so emotional about it!!!! But this just gave me hope and confidence again !!!!

Your encouraging me to cut mines cause my hair is damaged and relaxed l I just took my locs out and it’s literally falling out😢 I’ve had short hair before so that’s not a scare for me it’s all the styles I won’t be able to do once I cut it
Girl you better get a wig 😅 unhealthy hair is the worse because it never cooperates. Or use protective styles until you feel like you can cut it to where you can do your desired styles.
lol I have some but I just don’t really care for them like that I just want some health natural hair and cutting it is the only way to achieve it

I just got my hair done for graduation with knotless braids and after everything is over and a few weeks has passed, I’m thinking of chopping and dying my hair too and seeing you cry made me tear up🥺❤
Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster if you’re attached to your hair but I think it’s something every lady should experience. Good luck on cutting it 😊
