Every time i visit scott in birmingham he always takes me to some amazing locations with lots of dodgy finds like stolen gear, strange and mysterious things and you just dont know what you will find until you but your fishing magnet into the water and see what you pull out.
It is getting dark early now so i will be taking a hi powered torch with me in future videos so that the videos are not as dark.

Go 2 bridges further down past the lock just before asda there is a piaggio under the bridge and a couple of push bike seen them a couple of months ago on my way to work when the water levels was low

Maybe in this day and age. When the dump restricts how many times you can visit. You cant walk to a dump, have to drive there. Councils charge to remove big items from your place, £26 an item. So people may fly tip in rivers and canals. Things you find might not be stolen
I understand that but motorbikes and safes are definitely dumped by criminals but yes the system is broken when they make it harder and harder to remove your own rubbish

Scot found the box of screws(big plastic one) but as it come to the surface the screws fell out

looks like from how the exhaust is on the engine. could be from a 80's honda cb style bike. hard to tell in the dark

The engine is a three cylinder, so it probably is a Triumph one, given the fuel cap.

I expect the stuff like cutlery and iron have fallen off of canal boats, the engine, drill case etc will be stolen.

A little naive thinking they fell off a boat, that isn't a butter knife it's pointed, butter knives are rounded, chances are it's a chefs knife for whatever and thrown in deliberately.
The engine was stripped of everything untraceable or not needed, the petrol cap was removed and likely replaced with their own.
The person/people who did this are frowned upon by just about every bike rider, like it isn't hard enough staying on the road without thieves putting up premiums.
Like the dirty layer of oil and bits on the waters surface these thieves are just scum.

Hi mate good to see another video. I was out a couple of weeks ago doing a stream in my neck of the woods and found a blue spot socket set and 3 drll bit sets still sealed in the boxes. I can only assume that they where stolen and dumped by who ever was being chased. The socket set looks like it's brand new. So it's another trip back to see what else is there, I'm now curious.......

Drasticg hope so but I've got to have eyes in the back of my head due to where the stream is, as it's situated by a notorious housing estate with a unsavoury attitude towards strangers. So I can only go when it's dark and the blessed little angles are tucked up in bed.....Yes it's that bad..!!! Hence why I think the socket set is stolen.
I totallly get where you are coming from, most areas i fish are not somewhere you want to be without a few friends and even then the undesirables are everywhere
Drasticg this place I'm talking about was bad enough during the day time. In my last job I was tasked to maintain the (p.o.s) public open spaces on that housing estate, basically cutting the grassed areas and some of those areas where treated like public dumping grounds. So you can imagine what I came across on a weekly basis, the usual, beds, sofas, bin bags, burnt out cars and on some occasions dead body's from drug overdose, you catch my drift. This stream ran along the edge of estate. I was curious to see what might be there in that part of the stream where I found the tools. I only spent about 10-15 minutes fishing but it paid off. But I will go back during the twilight hours so not too arouse too much suspicion.

Petrol cap isn't from the engine as triumph don't do 3 silender bikes. The engine is a 300 to a 500cc.

@@bikerdan1615 looks around the same size if you look at a speed triple engine on Google. Also there's the 675cc and 1050cc version.

Either speed triple or street triple engine and fuel cap. Mate had his speed triple nicked in brum never been found. Wonder if engine number still on it?

Drasticg you should try a place in Manchester near the Larry they is a lot of water near there I don’t think you will find anything u might it is deap and a least 1-2 meters from the top of the water level and the ground and there is a fence around it but u should do it

I got told off by my mates girlfriend for showing him your channel 😂 . Apparently him and his two sons disappear upstairs after he gets home from work to watch your UA-cam videos now. She's upset he isn't watching the usual garbage like Corrie and strictly anymore with her
There's another great UA-cam channel called 'POST 10'. It's a random guy who goes round clearing storm drains and river floods with nothing but a rake or spade. He clears giant roads floods. UA-cam recommended it to me and it's another great find 😂

@@drasticg it's not myself. It's my mate who put magnets on his kids Christmas list. They are 9 and 11 years old so probably nothing too powerful. Hes buying one himself too so he can go out with them to keep an eye on them near the water. He'll watch your videos on how to get started I think.
