Thank you Christina. Wonderful response to a very active scene.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it!
It's to treat to see the process with your commentary Christina.
You made it look easy with your spontaneity! Loved the final result...
Thank you!
Smart solutions with the palette knife. Never would have thought of that.
Thank you!
I loved this! Especially the little bit of hiking footage at the very beginning ❤❤
Thank you, so glad you liked it!
I loved the way you balanced between brush stroke and palette knife. It came out beautiful
Thank you!
I think you captured it really well, Christina, especially in such a small painting.
Thank you!
Beautiful, the work with the pallet knife it’s amazing, I’ll give it a try…have a great day
Thank you! Happy painting :)
love this! thank you for sharing your process!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Nicely captured, your subject and your process. The narration helped a lot as you walked us through your goals, steps and your thoughts. Great use of the palette knife to mix in some chaos surrounding the structural order of the rock. The final result actually feels like a frame of animation capturing the waves mid-crash.
Thank you!
beautiful painting again. love the colours.
thanks :)
Fantastic work!
Thank you!
Congratulations on 5k Subscribers!
thank you! :)
This was incredible Christina. that is all i know how to say. Nice job!
Thanks DeVerne! Glad you liked it :)
Fantastic!
Thank you!
Wow - this turned out great. I’m impressed how you were able to create the foam with the pallet knife. How long did the piece take you?
Thanks Annek! Yes, the pelette knife was very useful in capturing the splashing waves on this one. I think it took me somewhere between 1-2 hours. Usually for plein air pieces I have about 2 hours max before the light changes too much.
Looks amazing! Can i ask what easel is it you're using?
Thank you! This is a Ugo pochade box from New Wave Art.
A amazing peace of work hard as I may I just can’t make a wave look like a wave. I’ll just have to keep trying 😀🇨🇦
Thank you! Honestly, waves are so hard to paint, it took me a long time to get better at them. Keep at it and I'm sure you will get there!
Lovely! Can I ask how you have the camera fixed? I’d love to make a video of my plein air process, I think it could teach me a lot about how to improve when watching it back
For sure! Usually I film with my smartphone, so I just got a tripod smartphone holder for it.
@@christinakentartthank you! You use it really well! :)
I like it. My personal opinion? Too much color.* Otherwise, good stuff! :)
Boilerplate: ND who tries to only a jerk nowadays in my art. Not towards others. (even though it's easy. lol)
