I'd probably use it as a nice glaze or side condiment for a pork roast or chop. It would be fantastic on appetizers - anywhere you use red pepper jelly. Because I am a baker i would probably use it as a glaze on an apple tart or even sliced and baked squash for Thanksgiving and winter. Endless possibilities
I can't wait👍👍
Good prasantation ❤
Thank you 🙂
I’ve never heard of this and I can’t wait to try it.
I made this a couple of days ago using Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen, and it turned out WONDERFULLY.😋 The flavor reminds me of honey, but with a malty note to it. I made a double batch so my family could give some to coworkers and friends, I might have to make more! 😂 I really want to try some with a charcuterie board, but everyone in the house keeps making sandwiches and toast with it, so I may run out before then! 😅 Thank you so much for the recipe, it will be a staple for us. 💜
Wonderful!
Interesant!🏴

Great video. Thank you
Quick question… video says 1/2 pkt pectin. Recipe says 1 pkt pectic. Which should I use when I make this? Thanks!
So was habe ich noch nie gesehen aber Ich stelle mir vor, das passt gut mit Brezeln und Butter als Beilage zu einer Würst... ?
Klingt gut!!
That would be good on potato pancakes, corn & apple fritters also
Right, potato pancakes ... great idea!!
I made this recipe, it did not jell although I extended the boil time by 4 more minutes and added the juice of 1/3 lime. I will use it as a glaze, or as a syrup.
I‘m sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you. Instead of lemon juice, use citric acid as a gel help. Citric acid is a concentrated acid compound, while lemon juice contains citric acid, water, vitamin C, and other molecules. I hope you can still use your batch for pancakes etc.
Thank you Barbara. I enjoy your show and your personal German experiences.@@MyGermanRecipes
She had me when it was Paulaner
What if I had used a Spaten?
@@MyGermanRecipes then I'd ask you to marry me I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind

@@MyGermanRecipes way to kill the dream 😂
Lol
Klappt das auch mit einem Dunkle Bier? Das muss ich mal probieren.
Davon kann man ausgehen, ja.
America jelly needs to be cooked in a water bath for the proper amount of time depending on your elevation. The best source for this information is www.nifa.usda.gov/about-nifa/blogs/usdas-complete-guide-home-canning
Yes, it would also work, but you would need to reduce the sugar a bit
Beer jelly! ❤
You had me at beer 🍺
😁😁😉
Is there a pork shish-ka-bob street food called "Shashliks", or something like that?
Yes, it’s called Schaschlik: cubes of meat are alternated with onions, bell pepper or other veggies. Then it is served with a Schaschlik Sauce. Fries are usually a side for it.
Very interesting recipe, I’ve never seen this before. Your Octoberfest outfits are beautiful. You look like a sexy young girl in those outfits. My all time favorite of yours is from years ago when you made the bretzels. You look like you are in your twenties when you wear those outfits. I told my wife that she needs to shop for Octoberfest outfits for herself but she said that she is too old to wear those clothes. 🤣🤣 Thanks so much for sharing and greetings from Naples, Florida. ❤️
Tell your wife "Your're never too old to wear a dirndl!" 🙂
@@MyGermanRecipes hahaha, my wife would tell me that I’m nuts. Lol
