Trade Raley to Reds for India (2B--check!). Trade Castillo, Haniger, and Garver to the Red Sox for Story and prospects. Red Sox would take on the 2 bad contracts so that the M's will take Story (3B--check!)) and send Castillo's value in prospects. M's would being clearing some salary for '25. They could sign Turner or make a trade to fill 1B. Story is a question mark, but the M's wanted to sign him before he signed with the Red Sox. If he returns to his pre-injury self, he would solidify 3B for 3-4 seasons for the M's who have internal options coming up soon for short and second...or short and third if India stays and Story doesn't work out.
Their offseason plan was trash and the most mariners of Mariners offseason. Colby’s obsession with platoon players and building a line up of high hopes and wishful thinking is terrible. Here, I’ll simplify it for y’all. Kirby, Rojas, young and Evan’s for westburg and Holliday Sign Walker Bueller Reach out to Toronto and trade locklear and ford for vlad, if not pivot to yandy
@ please enlighten me. I fill 3rd with an all star 3rd baseman, I fill 2nd with a 5 tool, number 1 ranked SS prospect and all under control I then replace Kirby with a 1 year pro it deal pitcher And I feel 1st with a power or contact first baseman all while keeping us in budget which blows their offseason with a bunch of mid moves out the water
1. You’re not getting Jackson Holliday. Cut and dry not happening O’s not interested unless blown out of the water. 2. Rojas and Evans don’t add any value to this trade. Especially for this type of return. 3. Westburg would just be as easy to get for Castillo 1 for 1. 4. Walker was not good, god awful in fact. Plus he’d probably just take a 1 year deal back to the Dodgers. 5. Also, why? Even if that happens, you have no pitching depth. Woo and Buehler have injury concern. If one or both go down, you have no depth. Hancock and Diaz/Garcia as your 4 and 5 is punting those games. 6. That is not getting you Vlad. Not even close, far from it. The Mariners apparently were aggressive at the deadline so that means offering more than just those pieces. You’d have to offer Colt for them to be interested in the trade and I wouldn’t do that. 7. He is projected to make 29.66 million, that essentially eats all the money. In your plan you picked up Rojas who’s projected to make 4.3 million and I don’t know who’s paying that the O’s or M’s because the O’s don’t need him. They have many infielders in their farm system. 8. Ford and Locklear sure they can get you Yandy, sure but he’s 33, has no over the wall power, plays 1st only and he’s god awful. Since ‘22 -8 OAA and same at 3rd during that time. Just not good. Especially for 10 million, the Rays aren’t eating that. In total you’ve added 40+ million, and Stanton isn’t doing that.
@@DeidaraOfTheAkatsuki there’s no way you’re getting westburg for Castillo straight up. It’s gonna cost a bigger package which is why we should trade Kirby plus to snag him and Holliday. I’m okay with 3 pitchers, dodgers won with less. I also proposed yandy for cost control. I also don’t mind moving Castillo to open up the budget but my trade proposal is not out of the realm of possibility
Not editing out the ad read is such a powerful move
ive needed some laughs lately thank you guys so much for the hilarious content this offseason, really appreciated

You did Trump dance at beginning
