Guys, the full minis are legally distinct. GW cant do anything about it because they depart too much from GWs minis, and thus dont infringe on copyright. There are tons of people who do these and are totally fine.
I have viewed most of these since the Sanguinary Guard were revealed on WH community. This is just what exists pre-release. Lets see what the phoned-in sculpts inspire in the near future. 3D printing can only threaten GW if they start making bad products.
does this still make my minis be playable for competitions (or play with those hard core players) if i use those death company things on my death company minis??
I like vb bits but their prices for physical bits are insane especially if your building sanguinary guard from scratch using just his bits the stl files are cheap tho
A brand new model that comes for 60€ in a box with just 3 lousy minis should NOT need extra work to look good. Blood Angels players have been doing this for years waiting for a refresh and i'll be bent sideways before i give them one more red cent after the lazy "refresh" they gave us. They can shove it
Putting the names of creators out there isnt a good idea boss, you should reconsider keeping this up. Talk top Auspex Tactics if you want to know more.
if its bits like heads, pad and weapons are fine. bodies and full proxies will get removed and GW will send them a lawsuit. Dude legit threw the one creator under the bus
You are completely within your rights to make a space knight with jump pack and angelic wings as long as it is different enough to your source of inspiration. Professional outsourcing specialist that I worked it in the past had 25% difference compared to original as his rule of thumb. Some landmarks and other objects may have special legal protection in some countries so you should research a source before proxying it though.
@@KrullMaestaren but what real happens is that gw goes to mmf and Cults and claims a copyright violation, the sites taking down the models and the creators have to prove otherwise, and not to the siteadmins, they have to probe it firstly to gw, if that doesnt work then they have to go to a lawyer. i dont know how much of this procedure is legal and what not, but that is how its done so far
@@KrullMaestaren Legally yes, but if a billion pound company decides you shouldn't, most independent sculptors don't have the financial resources to fight it.
Not to forget greytide minis is doing a BA campaign in September and those bits are top notch
Oh yeah I forgot those are coming soon! Very excited to see those.
Can’t believe you didn’t mention them 😢
There was too much from vb1234 as well, with nothing printed by you and shown off
Insane how much better those 3rd party guard are than GWs slop

LOL seeing the direct comparison shows pretty good how GW has fallen off….
Man just Alerted the inquisition 😭
Glad I have had those sanguinary guard before you made this video. These are gonna get taken down
The fact that we are even able to do this is a game changer (pun intended).

Can you do the same for Ultramarines? 😢
Why have you done this? You're just going to get them all removed.
