Love drooling over Airstreams but don't have all day. This is the perfect tour, concise with comprehensive commentary. No dilly dallying. Cheers for that. It really is a beautiful Airstream.
I just want to say that Patrick is definitely the man for this job! He is extremely thorough in his reviews of these trailers and passes on extremely useful information about the trailers. I enjoy watching anything produced by Colonial Airstream hosted by Pat because a I know I'm going to be filled with all of the important information that is important TO THE BUYER without all of the "fluff" most, if not all other, salesmen would pitch at you. Thank you for your service, commitment and knowledge Pat! Keep it up!
Patrick, you do a wonderful job on your videos! I watch a lot of RV reviews and nobody comes, even remotely, close to the depth of information you provide. Keep them coming!
I've watched a LOT of your videos, and you do a great job! You are truly informed, and you are able to not only educate but generate excitement about these beautiful trailers. Wish we didn't live so far away because the day we buy...well, maybe Virginia isn't that far away after all. Keep up the good work!
I just love watching your vids. The more I watch, the more I love the aesthetic and layout of this model. You have room to kick back and chill out, have a nice meal, and lots of light. Airstream is so classy. I can't wait to be an owner one day!
I love this Airstream... what a beauty!! Your description of this vessel is very nice, I can tell you enjoy your profession and you are informative without sounding like a snob.
Patrick I do enjoy watching your videos. I've taken a walk-through some of them many times. They are very helpful and informative. When the time comes it's airstream for me. Thanks again
great video!this is really nice, and I do mean really.looks very comfortable and cozy. love the couch/bed and kitchen area sink.great layout and not cramped
I have the 2016 Flying Cloud 23D, I actually think I like the older curtain system in the bed area. But I'll wait until I see the new curtain system in action before I make my final judgement call. Thanks for the video folks!
You are videoing and touring one of the premium travel coaches in the world. They go for 2 or three times what a comparable size trailer will go for. You do a real nice play by play, you do good sound. Clearly you put some time into this. Do yourself a favor, get someone to carry the camera. The difference will be an order of magnitude better. Else-wise, very informative and well done. Thanks
I’ve considered getting an airstream Airstream for years, but the need to repack the wheel bearings every 3000-5000 miles and lack of boondocking ability always made me reconsider. With the new never-lube (I’m assuming they are like car axels, need it every 100k?) axels my perspective has changed. THANK YOU for all your work on all of your videos! Can’t say enough good things about the details and common sense suggestions you include. Now if there were just a way to increase the number of batteries and solar panels, and the holding tanks. LOL!
Please film in 16.1. Most folks that are serious buyers are using Lab-tops, Tablets..etc.. You are the best at features and benefits on product much better at camera handling. Nothing worse then a shaky camera. Thumbs Up
Overall, very nice, Airstream does some of the nicest finish work in the game..and the designers are very good. One thing a little weird is the unfinished side of the drawer under the dinette, install a panel..
I am torn between the signature and serenity cabinet colors. The glossy white finish looks nice but this ebony looks elegant. I guess you have to see them in person to really decide.
Thanks for another thorough showing Patrick. This one seemed packed with extras. Do options have to be installed at the factory, or the dealership, or combination of both?
We will have to look at Airstream's,wife and I looked at Forest River and was disappointed in the plastic hardware everywhere. Not sure how that would hold up.
price, what does the d stand for? needs more counter/desk top for food prep and computer work, reading etc, to much dinettes couch seems to be the norm with airstreams must be a cheaper thing than putting in countertops, even removalable countertops would be ideal switch out between dinette and countertops. bed is to small for two people, so one would have to use the dinette bed. this is way to much trailor if all your going to do is camp a few weeks a year, but for full time it would be nice for one person to comfortably live. to bad the beds are not bunk beds instead. I do like the medium size airstreams the bigger ones would be such a hassle to pull around.
AT 2:40 of the video, you notice underneath that white hose, i'm not sure i like how it dangles down like that, when going off road could it not snag on something and rip off?
Dave, there are solar systems available from $3500 - $8000 depending on what you want to do with the batteries and inverter etc. to go along with the added solar.
The tubing is copper for the LP systems. Code requires these items to be exposed up into the point when it comes through the trailer floor. Airstream protects theses lines with a pex cover where necessary. I have never in my 14 year career with Airstream experienced any Airstream owners who have damaged one of these lines.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! Great presentations! Wish we lived on the east coast....don't think I'd like to drive it home to Bend, OR., I guess it would depend on the deal we made.
Colonial Airstream I'm not surprised at all that you have a lot of customers nationwide but what if we needed something to be fixed on our rv esp when it's under warranty when we're out here in California? Do you have an affiliate shop over here?
Final question...Truck dealers will tell you anything to get a sale, they could push you to buy something that cannot handle this size camper... Which trucks could handle a 27 foot Airstream Camper. I’m thinking of a Diesel, and willing to pay 70k
Oh wow, that's good news. I wasn't seeing that option in the brochures and don't recall you ever doing a walkthrough on one. I'm down in Louisiana so would be a little road trip to make it up there.
Sorry, but it was a gift, no offence meant. Like the presentation though, and always loved the trailers. Shame there wasn't a lightweight version for Europe; our engines are generally much smaller.
One point with the 23D, It has a front hitch weight of 720 pounds compared to 23FB with a hitch weight of 460 lbs. A small size SUV's and vehicles like my Tacoma cannot tow the 23D because of that even though its 4800 dry and 6000 total. You need a 1/2 pickup to tow 23D because of hitch weight
The published hitch weights are unloaded. An average owner that tows a 23FB has a hitch weight of 700 lbs because most of the storage is forward of the front axle. A weight distributing hitch system is recommended for either floor plan.
Thank you for your response, I realize that is unloaded but if that is true about hitch weight going up to 700 loaded then my Tacoma cannot tow the 23FB either since my hitch weight is 650lbs. I also asked my local dealer about the weight distributing hitch, but it does not change my ability to tow the 23D. I appreciate you response and again this is just for clarification purposes.
This is the best investment for a single young man earning 100k. Your saving money using the solar technology, no nagging wife, no kids, just meeting hot women across the country having lots of fun.
THOR was created in the early 80's to purchase and save Airstream. THOR was the best thing ever to happen to Airstream. THOR also has many entry level brands but Airstream is their premium.
Colonial Airstream I think he meant the yellow light that is commonly referenced in the car world as "marker". The sheet overlap wasn't plush potentially creating water entry. He's got a point.
The top window in the bathroom is great but the second, much lower window seems odd. I think it would be better if the lower window was higher - a few inches under the top window. As it is now, if you are using the toilet, and want to block the lower window, you have to draw the shade the entire length and block both windows.
Christopher Salazar I agree. Why not combine both windows situated at the upper level. Do away with the small one that's weirdly placed that's very uncomfortable while using the toilet. It needs a separate curtain or blinds to independently cover that window. Very weird design flaw imho.
Airstream believes the curtains fit tighter to the curved sidewalls of the Airstream. In the past customers requested a better solution for privacy in the bedroom.
Every time I hear, "Hello, this is Patrick..." I know I"m in for a treat. Great walk-throughs, thanks for doing such a great job with these.
Thank you very much.
Love drooling over Airstreams but don't have all day. This is the perfect tour, concise with comprehensive commentary. No dilly dallying. Cheers for that. It really is a beautiful Airstream.
don't forget you can set youtube to play at 1.25, 1.5, 2 times speed. I find myself watching most everything at 1.25 or 1.5 x speed these days
I just want to say that Patrick is definitely the man for this job! He is extremely thorough in his reviews of these trailers and passes on extremely useful information about the trailers. Always enjoy Patrick's videos. He reminds me of Ray Romano.
Patrick, you do a wonderful job on your videos! I watch a lot of RV reviews and nobody comes, even remotely, close to the depth of information you provide. Keep them coming!
I agree. Not over the top used car salesman type of voice. Tons of information. Tons. I love watching his videos.
Thank you.
Thank you for watching and for the kind comments.
Awsome. This one is by far one of the best. As a father of five, my children would love this. US War vet Desert Storm 1990-94.
Thanks for watching and for your service to our beautiful country.
I've watched a LOT of your videos, and you do a great job! You are truly informed, and you are able to not only educate but generate excitement about these beautiful trailers. Wish we didn't live so far away because the day we buy...well, maybe Virginia isn't that far away after all. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for watching. I have many customers from your area that purchase Airstreams from us and bring them home.
Your product knowledge is top notch. Thanks for the great tour. Airstream is so iconic.
I just love watching your vids. The more I watch, the more I love the aesthetic and layout of this model. You have room to kick back and chill out, have a nice meal, and lots of light. Airstream is so classy. I can't wait to be an owner one day!
Thank you for your continuous support. Patrick
I love this Airstream... what a beauty!! Your description of this vessel is very nice, I can tell you enjoy your profession and you are informative without sounding like a snob.
Karen, thank you very much.
Love your videos. This isn't a "walk around" video. This is a travel trailer TUTORIAL.
Thanks for checking this out.
Patrick I do enjoy watching your videos. I've taken a walk-through some of them many times. They are very helpful and informative. When the time comes it's airstream for me. Thanks again
Don, thank you for checking os out. Patrick.
Excellent ! Compact and very spaceous and two beds position ! Beautiful !
I'm in love with this camper.
Tonya, thank you for watching.
Patrick you are amazing and can't get enough of your videos!
Thank you very much.

Thank you for watching. I will consider your recommendations.
Overall, very nice, Airstream does some of the nicest finish work in the game..and the designers are very good. One thing a little weird is the unfinished side of the drawer under the dinette, install a panel..
Awesome Vids... I'm learning a lot and I'm sold on buying one too.
Thanks Patrick...
Excellent. I look forward to working with you when you are ready. Patrick
Great as always. Do you think Airstream would ever come out with a rear hatch that would allow a motorcycle or snow machine to be loaded and carried?
Airstream did back in 2009 and 2010, it was called the Panamerica. 21 total were produced.
I am torn between the signature and serenity cabinet colors. The glossy white finish looks nice but this ebony looks elegant. I guess you have to see them in person to really decide.
they are both great, there is not a wrong choice.
Can you remove the fisheye on your future videos.
So glad this is CC!! My husband can watch it. Great video
Thanks for another thorough showing Patrick. This one seemed packed with extras. Do options have to be installed at the factory, or the dealership, or combination of both?
Greg,
Thank you very much. Some factory options can be installed aftermarket at the dealership.
We will have to look at Airstream's,wife and I looked at Forest River and was disappointed in the plastic hardware everywhere. Not sure how that would hold up.
I believe you will be happy with the Airstream quality.
What does the D stand for? Why is this model not on Airstream's website? It's very beautiful. TY Patrick!
The 23D was the floor plan code for this mode for the front dinette. It has been renamed 23CB for corner bed.
Love this one , how much ?
price, what does the d stand for? needs more counter/desk top for food prep and computer work, reading etc, to much dinettes couch seems to be the norm with airstreams must be a cheaper thing than putting in countertops, even removalable countertops would be ideal switch out between dinette and countertops. bed is to small for two people, so one would have to use the dinette bed. this is way to much trailor if all your going to do is camp a few weeks a year, but for full time it would be nice for one person to comfortably live. to bad the beds are not bunk beds instead. Great tires and. Takes huge deal sweet trailer
Love this dealership!
Can we buy Patrick with our airstream? I love you Patrick! You are Colonial Airstreme’s secret weapon!
Ha ha. Thank you.
It's beautiful 👌🏾
Thank you.
Thinking about buying it. The dealer wants 76k. Curious our negotiation room... Suggestions?
Kat, give me a call I can work with you on the price. Patrick 800 265 9019
Nice tour!
Thanks Hula Shank.
Excellent walk through
Thank you Sir.
AT 2:40 of the video, you notice underneath that white hose, i'm not sure i like how it dangles down like that, when going off road could it not snag on something and rip off?
The white PEX is a protective guard for the LP copper line.
westernsharpie
Who goes off-roading with an airstream? (Valid question)
This is a very nice size Airstream trailer. what is the price of the 2017 Airstream trailer?
The MSRP pricing starts in the upper 70's.
Happy new year
Thank you.
All starts with wanting one and...... I really want one, the are beautiful. It just have to make sense.
Thank you.
Also where can I rent one for one year in the Bay Area
Best air stream videos
Thank you very much.
Iam a pianist do you have one that will fit my grand piano ?
I am sure you can fit it somewhere.
Well now, it is nice, but I live in Houston, so the question must be asked.... Does it float????
put it on a big pontoon boat or barge..
So, what would 400 watt solar panels cost, with install and panel, I'm thinking about this and the 27 foot. Dave
Dave, there are solar systems available from $3500 - $8000 depending on what you want to do with the batteries and inverter etc. to go along with the added solar.
Im gonna win the Powerball next month Ill be in to custom order my Airstream :) believe it !
wait was that the Mercedes Benz campervan recreational vehicle?? in the background
That is an Airstream Interstate.
I know I know can you ship it I am from Philippines can I rent it for free?
can this be pulled by a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE? Also, do I need to get a particular hitch?
I believe that vehicle has a 5000# maximum towing capacity and this Airstream has a GVWR of 6000#.
Why doesn't Airstream enclose the tubing under the trailer? It just seems so easy for road debris to rip them off. Enjoy your videos.
The tubing is copper for the LP systems. Code requires these items to be exposed up into the point when it comes through the trailer floor. Airstream protects theses lines with a pex cover where necessary. I have never in my 14 year career with Airstream experienced any Airstream owners who have damaged one of these lines.
I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra Limited 5.3 litre V8 4X4
I'm thinking of an Airstream 23 to 28 ft
Is this a reasonably good match for the Tundra?
Yes the Tundra would be a great vehicle for those size trailers.
Patrick sounds like Ray Romano 👍
Todd, Ha ha thanks.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! Great presentations! Wish we lived on the east coast....don't think I'd like to drive it home to Bend, OR., I guess it would depend on the deal we made.
Lol. I was thinking that too. I love listening to him
why couldn't they put the awning on the door side?
Not sure what you mean. The Awning is on the same side as the entry door.
Colonial Airstream I didn't see one on that side.
Awesome video
Thank you for watching.
I wanted to buy an airstream from Patrick but I'm out here on the other side of the country West coast so that's a minor dilemma.
Folks from the west coast purchase new and used Airstreams from me all the time.
Colonial Airstream
I'm not surprised at all that you have a lot of customers nationwide but what if we needed something to be fixed on our rv esp when it's under warranty when we're out here in California? Do you have an affiliate shop over here?
Airstream has service centers all over the country.
They sell airstreams in Buellton California
Excellent !
What is the price? Where can I buy in Calif? Thanks
+Colonial Airstream
Are you near the Navy Lakehurst Heritage Center where the Hindenburg German zeppelin crashed in 1937?
Final question...Truck dealers will tell you anything to get a sale, they could push you to buy something that cannot handle this size camper...
Which trucks could handle a 27 foot Airstream Camper. I’m thinking of a Diesel, and willing to pay 70k
I would recommend a full size SUV or pickup 1/2 ton. A larger 3/4 ton truck or a diesel would also be nice too.
Can you pull it comfortably with a Toyota Tundra pro model 2017
The Tundra would make an excellent towing vehicle for the 23D.
With capacity to spare
Patrick, does Airstream offer twin beds in the 30' International Serenity?
Oh wow, that's good news. I wasn't seeing that option in the brochures and don't recall you ever doing a walkthrough on one. I'm down in Louisiana so would be a little road trip to make it up there.
The nice part of THAT trip is that you only need a hotel on the way there! ; )
why don't you remove the fish eye from the go pro would be much better
lovely
Does Miss Piggy do voice-overs too? ;-)
Sorry, but it was a gift, no offence meant.
Like the presentation though, and always loved the trailers. Shame there wasn't a lightweight version for Europe; our engines are generally much smaller.
I'm working on it.
Why can't they make one key for all compartments?
We need one vendor that make the different lock sets and that are keyed alike.
I thought the 2017's came with Goodyear Endurance tires.
All 2017's built after the Middle of March 2017.
why these awesome things are not available in india
Do Indians camp?
Double-paned windows, by any chance?
Not what I meant - do the windows have two panes of glass, with a gap in the middle? Like modern home windows?
What is the price on this International?
Thank you!
how much is going for price wise?
These models start in the id to upper 60's
Why are you recording in this mode?... VERY distracting😕
what is price of basecamp trailer?
The Basecamp Airstream is currently not in production. 08/05/2016
Love it.
Thank you.

price ?
The MSRP price is just below 70K.
why don't you remove the fish eye
it is too good
This is the best investment for a single young man earning 100k. Your saving money using the solar technology, no nagging wife, no kids, just meeting hot women across the country having lots of fun.
Thanks for watching. We have an Airstream for everyone.
nice your good
Whoever decided to put a stacked window in the toilet should look up the word “Privacy”
The trailer and floor plan was originally designed without. Owners and buyers requested the wind to be put in.
Good demo, but please invest in a tripod. I got seasick.
...IT'S A COZY "HOUSE" ON WHEELS..!!!
Yes it is.
clemente miranda
Has the Quality gone Downhill since Thor Took over. Thor does not have a great reputation for Quality and Customer Service.
THOR was created in the early 80's to purchase and save Airstream. THOR was the best thing ever to happen to Airstream. THOR also has many entry level brands but Airstream is their premium.
Great info.
2:29 under the marker light problem with the finish
You reference time does not show a light.
Colonial Airstream
I think he meant the yellow light that is commonly referenced in the car world as "marker".
The sheet overlap wasn't plush potentially creating water entry. He's got a point.
Easily the oddest place ever for a window in an expensive trailer -- 2 inches behing the toilet. What the hell?
Also, the word is "the."
Does anyone else agree with this commenters opinion?
The top window in the bathroom is great but the second, much lower window seems odd. I think it would be better if the lower window was higher - a few inches under the top window. As it is now, if you are using the toilet, and want to block the lower window, you have to draw the shade the entire length and block both windows.
I see that to just the one would be enough for light.
Christopher Salazar
I agree. Why not combine both windows situated at the upper level. Do away with the small one that's weirdly placed that's very uncomfortable while using the toilet. It needs a separate curtain or blinds to independently cover that window. Very weird design flaw imho.
brutal fisheye.
yes
Hate the pull curtains, much prefer shades
Airstream believes the curtains fit tighter to the curved sidewalls of the Airstream. In the past customers requested a better solution for privacy in the bedroom.
fish eye makes it seem like I'm being blatantly lies to
you have a douche eye
Sadly, not much counter space.
the sink and stove covers help with that.
Ballpark..$$$ ?...$70.k
and government should make it leagel
Bathroom in the bedroom not a great plan
We have larger trailers with different floor plans.
Holly Laughter
Don't you have bathrooms in your bedroom at home? I know I have.
junk
They are all junk
none,they are all junk
You presented your facts very well. Are you a professional?
+Colonial Airstream I was referring to the "junk, they're all junk" comment.
