I actually think this version encapsulates everything that makes Living Colour so fantastic. Superb musicianship, improvisation, courage....An absolutely storming version.
These guys are the young brothers of the Bad Brains and Death. What a band !
This song NEVER gets old! It just gets BETTER!
takeuparil... A MELHOR BANDA DO UNIVERSO TODO
Living color is one of the baddest bands ever. These brothers wrecked and told truths. These live version slays

5:37 Everything, everything, everything BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH
Living Colour RULES!
Been so lucky to get to see these legends live in Scotland twice in the last few years. How they can still find the energy to play the way they do I don't know but they kick ass like they're 18 still :-D
It’s such a bummer that that reggae part at the end never made to an album, I remember when I heard them performing it live in 2004 and I was so stoked that I couldn’t sleep. Lol love these guys
Love the live energy!!
LIVING COLOUR boys n girls. Luv it!!!!
funk me! they are too good live!!!!
Amazing
Wow! I saw them so long ago, when they first started playing in NY
ON FIRE!
AWESOME !!!!!
I love these guys. They are awesomely amazing.
Excellent version!!! Thanks a million for posting this. Gonna fav this one.
Me quito el sombrero!!!! Excelente!!!
Shows a lot a discipline to always challenge this melody. If you want to hear the studio version then just listen to that
Legit.
Wow... and holy sh¿t. #rockgodz
I love how their live sound is better than the studio sound
See a doctor, you're going deaf
What you smokin
Unos de los mejores del Rock.
the album version grooves SO much harder than this but hey, it's their music, they can play it how they feel.
Uhhh... this is badfuckingass!!! 🤟🔥🌠⚡
GODS
Unfortunately, this didn't change, they played a show at the same place in 2013, and I was there this time, I was the only one actually moving and singing.
sneak eyes!
muito legal a parte do reegae!fico muito diferente do cd!
Among other influences, Living Colour grew up on thrash, hardcore and Bad Brains! That’s why I love them so much because it reminds me of the same. “It’s [their] our culture so naturally we [LC] use it.” This is authentic Living Colour, among many other expressions of the band. But don’t ever try to pigeonhole them.
I like this version just as much as the album version. Live versions aren't always about sounding just like the studio
@ratsalad123ify - it has energy, and it just plain ROCKS! Not in the least stupid!
Fucking hell....wow.....fuck....
la vin q locos
excelente banda! suena muy fuerte en vivo! Living colour debería tocar temas de Rage againts the machines: estos cuatro músicos revitalizarian la canción de protesta contra el sistema burgués!
Corey is high as hell!
Awesome live performance nothing like the album version but still great talent!
Super saiyajin style!
it went from metal to reggae! boss
Pqp! Do caralho
These guys used to turn the stage into a mosh pit when they played; before advancing age started gluing the feet. LOL
dafuck is red hot chilli peppers near this
Is their flight home leaving earlier than expected
Where is the mosh pit?
ta rapido pa CARALHO! maldita cocaina oaksopaska
police & teeves frightening the nashon!!! ain't that the truth.
Fast version.
Why is it so fast?
You're too slow
+edbingey :D
> You're too slow
He's right, you're wrong. In fact, not only is it too fast, they made a bizarre decision with that stepped-on hiccup on the drums. It happens pretty consistently, and it's Will Calhoun, so it's obviously intentional, but it ruined the groove completely. No room at all for the guitar, bass and vocals to breathe.
why so fast.????hayang modol???
They need to slow it down
why in so quick tempo? then chorus is like "from express"
Why so fast? 🤦🏻♂️
Live rock music must be faster like this, in my opinion. Bands like Bon Jovi for example, peform too slow on stage nowadays. Age maybe
cocaine version jajajajajajajajajaja
Vernon doesn't lead vocal much
Too fast!
What are they in a hurry for??? Way too fast... i prefer the original tempo... had more groove.
Loses its subtlety being done so fast
awfull. they have been scrapping that song since 1993...
the Tempo is to fast it sounds better in the studio don't get me mistaken there an awesome band
type is a good example of how the band changed its vibe when doug kicked in. the soulful jazziness of Skillings was replaced by the annoying whamminess of Wimbish. And type was a fun, clorful song, but now, it's soulless, the tempo is odd... hate what Calhoun does and I hate how Vernon can't just play the riff of single strings, as it was originally intended to be played.
Bad as fuck
Wrong.
