I have seen Living Colour in 1989, 1991 with The Stones, 1992, 2021, and just a few weeks ago in 2024. Each time awesome !!!! But, this show... I wish I would have been there also !!!!!! PURELY AWESOME !!!!!!
I was invited to visit after the show in their dressing room quarters. They were charming and polite and absolutely delightful. Cory gave me a kiss on the left cheek with a big hug. I got a hug from all of them. The signed my Quilt block that I had brought with me hoping that they would sign!! Most excitement in my 70 year old life!!! I'm now 81!! It was at University of New Hampehire, USA.
Once of the few honest bands I've listened if you understand what I mean. No disguises, no elements to call the attention, just music. They make rock straight from their souls. And they live it and transmmit it.
What a show! Chills. Saw LC 5 times. From punk to funk, metal to melodies, reggae to rap, jazz, a cappella etc. 30 years later. ....nobody still can even come close.
Calhoun was a beast on those drums. What he did was worth the price of admission. I was mesmerized! Now, I have to add this Paradiso Amsterdam to my Pandora playlist. Damn, I wish I could have seen them live.
Living Colour!!! 🕉 I have finally looked them up on UA-cam! I saw them decades! ago at the Stone in San Francisco, no longer there. I first saw them as the opener for the Rolling Stones at the Oakland Stadium; they were outstanding. I saw Vernon more recently with "Spectrum Road"; with none other than Jack Bruce on bass 🔊! Cindy Blackman Santana on drums, at Yoshi's in Oakland. With Carlos Santana sitting in at the end! Unreal. 2 nights in a row. Right up front the first night 🌙. Out of body experience. Then I saw them again at the Palace of Fine Arts in S.F, again! Sweet. Vernon is unreal. He keeps up that speed for measure after measure. Superhuman ability. Listen to that bass! Wow. And The drums! This band rocks seriously like no other band. And funky! Thank you Living Colour. Years of quality music 🎶 for our heart ❤ and soul. Gratitude 🙏 🕉
My first listen to this live performance and all I gotta say is : This was CHURCH!!!! Truly Truly a musical experience!!!! Y’all EVEN GAVE the drummer some!!! DAMN!!!!
I’ve seen lots of LC shows over the years, this might be the best (at least judging from the first 20 mins). Stunning vocals, even for Corey, great production, nice crowd energy. Not quite as much jumping around as back in the day, but it sounds stunning. Hope to catch you guys IRL again some time.
I saw them in 1987 at my university student activities center. Their first album had just been released. I worked backstage and got to meet them. Very nice people and it was an outstanding show.
When we were at this gig I told my brother these guys come from a different planet. It was amazing and out of this world. Thank you for this, Living Colour. Proud to have been there. 🤘

I watch the original live stream with a whole apartment full of people and WE ROCKED as much as LIVING COLOUR !!! Thank you for posting this !! I met you all and had the best hang of my life when you played Seattle for the Vivid Anniversary tour. Living Colour is the definition of G.O.A.T. #WhatsYourFavoriteColourBaby
I love you guys! Rock legends. I know the lyrics to half of your songs and the drumming in your music is a huge influence on my style. It's probably very unlikely that you'll ever see this comment but if you do, thank you for all of the memories and awesome music! If you ever tour in America again, be sure to stop by Buffalo or Toronto!
Excellent Set... I watched to the end and got some work done around the house! Remember LC, your community does support yall, we out here...........regardless. NFMLV!
I saw them in 1990 with my then girlfriend, then again twenty years later with my wife the same woman,as my wife and both times they were excellent...🤟🏿
Everyone get his pleasure where he find it but I want to know what kind of satisfaction have a Justin Bieber’s fan when is listening his music or another kind of pop radio artist, comparing this live? This live with greats musicians is just Fantastic. To all musicians playing live and loud ✊. It’s my favorite color. Sorry for my english, as you see is not my first language 😅🎼🎸🤩🤘.
You are absolutely right sir! Living Colour is at the moment my all time favourite band and stain is just one of the best Albums made ever „in my honest and humble opinion“! first, Vernon Reid is just an amazing guitarist. But singing.. you've got a guy from Platoon (the Oliver Stone) movie, with one of the most distinctive voices in rock. and I got a 95% on Guitar hero playing cult of personality :-) All those bloody solos HaHa
