It's pretty cool to see you open peripherals like these. Even though I'm obviously more of a fan of the game unboxings, it's kinda nice to get these little breaks in between games. I'm honestly curious as to what else you have to open. Haha!
You really opened that soooo cleanly. I wouldn’t think to use a tool like that. That’s something I’ll keep in mind for the future. The only thing I can think of- would maybe be heat to break the seal cleanly too? I still don’t think that would work because of what it’s adhered to... Sometimes I use hair dryers on low over a few minutes to get store stickers off of packaging. They peel right off when the glue is heated up
I got the skills...but not to pay the bills. I've thought about using a heat gun but that would probably warp the card itself. Oh yes. I've used the hair dryer trick for years. Back when you could easily find CIB games. They would often have a big price sticker on them. LIke right on the box. I guess they were just seen as old junk back then so people didn't care. Thankfully now most people use sticky notes or something less sticky.
Yes, that’s my favorite trick for getting stickers off of packages! And then a little alcohol swab for any remaining residue when possible. I am definitely thankful when they are using labels that are not as damaging.
I couple of years back I was lucky enough to run across a pristine NES & a couple of boxed games for $20 at a yard sale. They threw in a sealed standard black PS2 memory card for free and it’s still the main memory card I use for my system. I really wish there was an easier, cleaner way to open those things.

Not a whole lot when it comes to accessories. Most people enjoy the unboxings so hopefully I can start doing those again.
*Comic Book Guy Voice* You opened the package. It's no longer in mint condition!
Nooooo. It's no longer a collectible!
@@GoodVibeCollecting hahah exxaaccttlyyy!!👌

@@theconfusingwords Alcohol will damage any kind of cardboard but works great for getting marker off of plastic cases.

Now I'm curious what boxed games you got. :)
@@GoodVibeCollecting One of them was the unlicensed Solitare game and I can’t quite remember the other one.
Oh yeah, it was Super Jeopardy and Monopoly lol
@@Eric_Plunk Nice, that one is hard to find. I love the cover for that game.
@@Eric_Plunk NES Monopoly is a great version. Simple and straight to the point.
Never seen this color before. Nice!
The white ones are not that easy to find. Some of them are even starting to turn yellow.
Great song
But do you know where it's from? :)
@@GoodVibeCollecting I was hoping you’d tell me!
@@birddoggaming First hint. It's from a PS1 game.
@@GoodVibeCollecting now I’m curious... I was thinking it was a great song too!
@@theconfusingwords Second hint. It's from an early PS1 game.
Why it says 3 blocks on the back side instead of 15? 🤔
It's using that as an example for what to look for. Most games only use 1 block so not sure why they show a 3.
Have you tried raser blades?
Yes, razor blades tend to cut into the cardboard easier. You want to use something less sharp.
Do not open at the plastic boarder, open where the memory card edges out the plastic
I don't quite understand what you mean.
@@GoodVibeCollecting I cannot really describe this, but wait I am gonna do an image

@@askdaaskda1757 That will still damage the plastic as it's one piece.
