Yeah I've actually never seen that straddling technique on front giants. Even Nastia was able to pike enough to keep her legs together. Not necessarily a knock on her, just caught me by surprise.
@@colesmith7509 It's hard to see bent arms from the video but definitely close catches and they usually go together. Having said that, she doesn't give much away on casts or pirouettes really (maybe .3 on the stalder full) and doesn't have much visible leg separation.
Unusual to see that kind of bars work from China. She looks taller than the average.

@@_padfoot Nastia wasn't that tall of a gymnast.
Does anyone know if it’s true that for the next quad senior women must be 18 and not 15-16? Because that rule would really harm chinese federation
She totally deserves her score
good routine but a little overscored imo.
Yeah I think it’s at least half a point high 😭 good technique but a lot of close catches on releases and bent arms
Looks like a new routine for her
You are no juges ok
She totally deserves her score

Unfortunate that the biggest deduction comes on the cast-half.
They're so much harder than they look😭
you right, that's a 0.3 deduction
She’s so exhausted she can’t hold that handstand much longer
Piked Jeager…
8.4 Execution Many Visible Deduction……..
Overmarked
