Great job one of the better videos I've seen for the A-10 mini pro suggestion would like to see may be an actual mock up of having an interview with someone at exactly how you set up and do it on the Internet.
We use a HDMI splitter on the laptop connected to the HDMI 4 input . Then we use the second output to connect to the "house" monitors (large TVs). We run our PowerPoint slides on the laptop and then we can select the HDMI 4 input as appropriate for the live cast.
So... can you use the Network cable to stream the Program on UA-cam while using the HDMI Out to preview a MultiView while also recording to an SSD using the USB-C?
How do you connect PTZ controller for every camera with this setup? and If the USB C useable as a web Cam is it means this is a 5 Channel vedio mixer? is it possible to select and playback each captured video clips from external storage toward HDMI out again? Tnx
Well done Kennis for getting your head around this tech. Got mine waiting to go. Normally see you demonstrating the Roland GR55. You can use a hub I think out of your USB-C port and have multi memory cards ready to go.
This was such a fantastic training. You are an Excellent Teacher!!!! I am a beginner and you just helped me learn faster and avoid a lot of confustion!
Subscribed so I can view later videos on this and have my assistant also watch them. I will be receiving an Atem Min Pro ISO soon and have a Mini Extreme ISO on back order (hopefully, that arrives sometime in May or early June).
In our church, we currently only have a single PTZ camera. The audio from the board is going directly in to the camera and then I'm using the HDMI output of that camera to feed the audio/video of our live stream. I did this so it was all in sync at the source. So I'm curious how you can control the audio settings if the audio is coming in over the HDMI cable and not an actual mic/audio input.
late to the party here, but thx for all this training, much appreciated. Question: how can i use a still in a pic to pic? It seems it won't allow me to do this. I suppose the only way is to put a camera on the still and work that way? Also, it is not possible yet to change a scene and revert back to the enlarged pic in pic? Hope they addressed this in new software.
A little confusing at times, but you answer a lot of questions that I had about using the switcher without a computer...Bought the basic mini. - it is with a friend in CA. Should have bought the mini pro...🙄
Hi Kennis, Thanks for this Tutorial! Well done! I have a question: We have Midas air 18 digital mixer in our Church. I get digital sound from mixer through USB. How to turn this sound into audio input of ATEM Mini Pro for live streaming? Thanks
For monitoring audio, many monitors (atomos for example) have a headphone jack. If using a gopro. Put it on a tripod or some sort of fixed support and turn off stabilization, or else you will have a one second delay in video. Now for my question. The mic / line input Jack's. Are they stereo or mono? This will determine if I get a y splitter or 2 seperate cables when connecting to soundboards or other audio devices.
Thank you so much for these videos. Can you record four cameras via the USB drive at the same time? Done without streaming just as a dedicated recorder?
Kennis can you have the laptops webcam under one of the buttons. Plus can I not have the multi view on my laptop screen (not a small monitor like you have). Plus - if I want plug in a SSD to record - I can't then use the USBC out to a laptop (do I then have to use the ethernet)
1. Cannot use the laptop webcam as a camera. 2. No multiview on laptop. Only external monitor. 3. Usb can act as a webcam and record to ssd. You have to choose one or the other.
Did I understand you correctly that the usb only records the program out and the hdmi has either mulit view or program. So am I thinking correctly that I can have the multi view on the hdmi, hit record and the final output would be recorded to a USB ssd?
great video mate, thanks. just a quick question about the mic and audio... How do you hear yourself and if your audio sound and level is good or not? I dont see a headphone jack on the atem
I'm going to be feeding the ATEM digital audio (as a mix). Could I simply run it into one of the HDMI ports and select that source's audio as the only audio? I only need 3 of the 4 HDMI inputs for video. I feel that would be better than running the mix into the Mic input. I'll be running RJ45, so I'll need an adapter. Thanks!
Hi Kennis, we use this in church along with Restream, but we have a background squeak on our streams, but not live in church. Any idea what may be causing this? Thanks, Mark
Curious. Some sort of audio feedback. Do you have a dedicated mic? Might have to play with your audio/audio input selection, etc? Could two audio sources be competing? I didn't help at all, let us know how you get on!
I’ve noticed that the pre gain on atem is set at 0 which pretty high, especially depending on the input. When you turn it down it’s much better try -10 to start, we settled on -15 for now. Load up Atem Software control so you can see the audio knob at top, drag left to decrease gain
Can i just use this to record my phones display using a hdmi adapter plugged into the hdmi in on the yolo box...not interested in streaming just recording my favorite shows off my phone
