Yeah I got it in like 5 minutes and got it clean and consistent after about 10 I thought I was doing it wrong cause every tutorial said it was difficult and took time lol
I find big flips easy to follow because he always jumps back to the start when he's explaining. Honestly with any other toutorials, they just explain it once and ramble on about some random stuff for the rest of the video. Keep the good stuff coming 🙏
They always seem to go back to the start at the perfect time aswell they would show something then i would try to finish the trick on my own then mess up ofc but he wpuld be like alright lets start from the beginning and i dont gotta rewind
@@Vxltzz Or, if you have 2 bali's you just follow along at the same time with both hands! Build up that dexterity. Something I wish I did when I first started learning to flip. Being able to flip effortlessly in both hands is a win, and put's you leagues ahead from the average flipper. Just saying
For any one else finding this trick hard, I found it much easier to start the initial spin when I have the bite handle over my index, instead of doing a double rollout.
That made it much easier as when i did a double roll out for some reason at the end the blade would be the one spinning around my thumb not the handle so doing it this way got it flipped around Thanks
how do you get into 3:02 position if you first have to do a spin with your middle finger/thumb? the blade would be facing the opposite direction if you completed the middle finger/thumb spin. Throughout the video you’ve done different ways of doing the choker fan, so confusing. You went from starting with the thumb spin to starting with the middle finger/ring finger spin.
Yeah its hard but the tip that got me to learn it is that make sure your fingers arent to tightly gripping the handle and you just gotta go for it, dont be afraid to drop it i recommend doing it on a bed or over carpet when practicing
I would love it if you made a video showing a couple combinations of tricks learning individual tricks is cool but I would like to know how to put them together in one combo.
For me I just can't do the double rollout and then do the fan, i either have to do a single rollout or 3 so that the blade is facing to my left (since im right handed) and that's like the only way I can do it, pretty swag tho!
helix is harder in my opinion... they are pretty close but there are a few tricks which are easier than the helix I still have to do. it's just my weird system! stay patient!
I am going to try to learn it be patient but yes at some point when I learn it I will do a tut on it. it looks awesome! cool to have a trick I don't know yet! thanks!
I'm looking it up but can't find can you link? I think someone else linked me it but the video was really low quality so it was hard to see what he was doing..
I dnt understand y i can't get this trick,I've been at this over 2 no the an iam barley any farther than when I started. Maybe explain it another way idk
Idk if my balisong is too heavy or something, but when slowly attempting to learn this trick, my nuckles are busted and skin is scratched, this is extremely difficult, compared to behind the 8 ball, maybe its just me, but i cant even semi-grasp it
hi Flip i just bought a cs:go replica vanilla trainer. im im just curious, because i have been watching you content (ass well as others) and i can´t seem to figure out the difference between the Heelix, the cherry picker and the behind the 8-ball. thx in advance and keep ut the good work. PS: count me ass a new sub on the list from now on!
yo they are pretty similar! the bt8b is a closed zero g chap followed by a closed thumb roll followed by an open thumb roll.... the helix is an open thumb roll followed by an open zero g chap followed by a open thumb roll.. and the cherrypicker is a middle zero g open chap followed by a index open chap followed by a thumb roll. that is probably very confusing but just know they are just different fingers and open/closed. you will see when i post the tutorials! your ass has been counted! thanks for watching/ subbing!
once you master the movements you just have to focus on getting a good spin at the start and holding the knife loosely enough so you don't stop it. good luck bro! just practice it lots!
maybe holding too loose then. just hold tighter and go through all of the steps without dropping it'll look bad but you can get familiar with the steps and then slowly get looser and more fluid. or just learn some other stuff and come back! good luck!
I have a tip for you which would greatly improve the quality of your tutorials (in my opinion). Don't waste 1:55 seconds explaining how to do a double rollout and a icepick spin. I understand that in order to do the trick you don't actually do the icepick spin but you do something very similar. It would probably take 20 seconds at most to explain how to get the starting position of the choker fan. I mean no disrespect with this comment. I just feel that should take my advice into consideration. Other than that this was a great tutorial.
So thanks I dreamt to do that trick about half a year, and thanks to your video I have stydied that only for day! This so incredible! P.s.: sorry for my bad english

Months?

I love how easy to understand your tutorials are. Helps a lot.
thanks for watching!
They usually are insanely easy to understand and follow along to, this one though, pretty confusing (especially since im left handed)
@@bloockeed did you ever Figure it out im a lefty as well and this is so confusing and there are no left handed tutorials

Gotta love the ol "shrimp move" I'll never forget this trick now
I saw videos here in Brazil and I can not learn this maneuver, now with your video I learned, your channel very good...
most difficult move for me to learn.
I find it easier to throw the blade in as opposed to the handle but great tut, thanks !
its like you read my mind i been wanting to learn this
nice dude thanks for watching!
I owe the credit to all the tricks i can do directly to big flips! Love ya babyyyyyy

“Once you’ve shrimped it like so…” I love that line, I don’t know why.
Finally understood after this video. Better than every other tutorial on youtube. Thank you!

Edit: i've been practicing for 5 hours straigt and for some reason my brain doesn't want me to peform the trick.
because you are too concentrated on taking out people who didnt practice their spanish lesson
thanks for teaching my japanese duolingo san

His very broken down and drawn out explanation sometimes do more harm than good.

i already knew this one but good tutorial eitherway i might be able to get my chokers fans even smoother😄
Bram van wieren same here!
glad you guys liked it!
Amazing tutorial rly well explained
I like how he assumes that we are brand new what a great teacher
I got weird locking middle and ring fingers + a short balisong, doing this in hard difficulty
I would love it if you made a video showing a couple combinations of tricks learning individual tricks is cool but I would like to know how to put them together in one combo.
for sure. I'm planning it. tbh a lot of the cool smooth combos involve advanced tricks that I haven't taught yet! stay patient it's coming!
Спасибо за подробное разъяснение!!
So you can only do all of the butterfly knife tricks if you have big hands I can spin it half way before it gets to the end of my finfer
How do you do the "shrimp" without the handle just sliding on your middle finger?
when i do the "shrimp" it doesnt roll across my finger, it just slides and stays in the same position, how do i fix this
This was the tutorial that actually helped me be able to do it. I dunno why, but I managed to do it after this video
Any tips on how to get a good starting spin?
0:01 super edit
I have trouble with the first spin i can do the rest of the trick well but i cant spin it at the begginning does anyohe know how i can fix that
hellbent is in the advance section but its easier- no offense to bigflips ur tutorials are the best
Nice video!Very nice move.Hope that ur content will be better and better
it will be i have lots more stuff coming!
My ring finger gets in the way durning the “shrimp” hard to get out of the way.. any tips?

I was holding my wrist in place to learn the placement and it made me fling the knife when I hurt my wrist
To me I think flip finz is a great beginner balisong if you want to learn balisong flipping
Why do you never post any videos anymore? :(
Thanks bro finally learned my dream trick
Great video as always but I don't understand why you didn't let the Behind the 8 ball be followed by the Helix

I like your weird system though :D By the way what do you think of putting some combos of different level explanations?

“Once you’ve shrimped”
You see, I have a curved balisong and it is quite hard to spin the uneven weight like that
Curved balis are good for beginner tricks but not for advanced ones, get a straight balisong, everyone knows tf2’s better than csgo
I used my friend's curved bali a while ago and it felt awful. I couldn't even do normal fans on that thing
I have learned bt8b and helix and cant Learn this move its impossible :/
you should do the helix
