This is the best tutorial of the choker fan I've watched so far. No other tutorial said to let the momentum carry, they all just said to twist with your fingers and i never really quite got it until i watched this. I can finally do one of my favorite tricks!
Dude, your explanations and break downs have been the most helpful so far. I've been practicing flipping for about a month, watching a bunch of tutorials as I'm learning. And for a handful of tricks, I just can't wrap my head around what I'm actually supposed to do, until I watch your tutorials, and it finally comes together. Thanks man!
@@Prozrobz if it makes you feel better you’ll probably bust out a thousand shitty ones before you ever have a clean one. For the longest Time while I was learning the trick I would do shitty ones just with practicing it came to me
Tysm!! I decided to finally try it again after stumbling upon this tutorial and I finally got it! The first time I managed to execute the right timing, speed, and movement to allow for the first few spins felt magical!
I tried every tutorial on the choker fan none worked, simply because of the ring finger transition you explained it the best. Now after 30minute of trying i finally did it. Thanks :)
Yeah I’ll think about it. I’ve known how to do the trick for so long that I don’t know if I’d be able to explain it but I’m gonna deep dive and see what I can come up with. I usually not do tutorials on tricks I think I can orovide a unique insight into that provides more value than what you can learn from other tutorials. Z choker is so much about timing that it might be hard but I’ll try 🙏🏼
Well the truth is that the spin doesn’t operate in a specific time frame. You can crank it faster or slower depending on a few factors. The most important is the wrist turnover or rotation. The force that you apply there combined with the force of the twisting you do with your thumb and middle will determine the overall pace for the trick. There’s a medium range of force that the trick will work on because too much or too little and it will become significantly harder to maintain control. So the tldr is be conscious of the speed that you start the trick (or the force applied during initiation) because that will set the pace for the spin.
Also if you meant how to time it in terms of when to start it the best time I’ve found is (if ur right handed) when the handle that you aren’t holding turns over or moves into the left plane from the right. The reason for this is because that’s when the potential energy of the trick transfers to kinetic. LMK if this helped 😎🙏🏼 thanks for watching

@@cantflipforship I still can’t do it because of the momentum since I use a squiddy but it definitely helped out a lot with the steps 👍

This was a perfect left-brained explanation of the choker fan.
Haha never thought of it that way but thank you!

Thank you!! I try to be as informative as I can in all my tutorials.

One problem I’ve been stuck: how do you time the spin (ik u will need to feel the weight)
