Thank you for this tip. I bought mine a month ago and haven't test it yet. Looking forward to make videos using this accessory. 😊
Nice! Enjoy 😀
I am still struggling to connect this Hollyland lark m1 to my iphone 13 pro - I got this mircophone in December 2023 and I have tried various adaptors as I was only supplied a trrs to trs cable. It works on my old andriod phone but not on my old iphone 11 or current 13 pro. So frustrating
Oh here you answer my previous question. This is VERY weird. It should be plug and play - never had an issue. Any Bluetooth devices plugged to the phone?
@@cris_photography I have tried bluetooth off as well as wifi off etc too. Honestly it's not working with the Hollyland Lightning to 3.5mm Adapter from Hollyland either - for iphone 11 or 13 pro.
Everytime I try googling it your video comes up in the AI drop down for the answers.
How do I connect to my iPhone 15 pro max?
You’ll need a USB-C to USB-C for that. I haven’t personally tried but that should work. Did you already try that?
doesn't work for me. wondering if it's because I have an iphone10. hollyland customer service blows and can't seem to set up any sort of conversation on the phone
my audio actually sounds worse when the lark is plugged in. like its muffled. so confused
That’s not good 🤦🏻
Maybe it is because it’s an iPhone 10 (some software related issue). Have you tried (or been able to try) on a more recent phone? That might indeed solve the issue. As to the quality sounding worse, you might want to try changing the settings AND make sure the “noise canceling” option is off (is the light on the transmitters is green it means it’s on - make sure it’s blue by pressing the yellow button on the side)
If you're using it in quiet indoor enviornment, pls turn off ENC as Cris suggested; if you're using it in the street or other noise outdoor environment, pls turn on ENC.@@toneandmuscle3917
I have the Lark m1 and an iPhone 15 pro max, and the Apple usb-c to headphone to connect the receiver to my phone and it does not work. Is the lark m1 not comparable with the iPhone 15?
@@antn3y i duno. I’m just gonna return mine. Their customer service blows
Jack cable for IPhone didn’t come with the box😡
No it doesn’t 🤦🏻
Doesn’t record anything
Phone model? Cable used is a hollyland cable? Did you restart the phone?
What a dismay 😩 I just bought an Apple male lightning to female aux and it doesn’t work when I snap the Apple adaptor into the Hollyland dual male aux Mic drop 🎤 😅
Sorry to hear mate! this is quite strange... I really had no issues with the original cable from Hollyland but not sure why this would happen.
@@cris_photography after couple attempts it finally worked 🚀
@itssouf great!
@@itssoufhow did you fix it, same issue here
@@petertotten6479 here is what I learnt from it. Before shooting, make sure you plug the whole setup to your iPhone (I presume) before opening the camera app. Then after filming unplug the whole thing to finally hear the sound coming out of the phone speakers 🔊
I bought the Hollyland USB-C to 3.5mm adapter but it's not working on my iPhone 15. It works perfectly on my Android, but not on the iPhone... Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks
Hear about that for many users - feel like the software needs an update (on hollylands end). Still didn’t figure out how to solve that sorry
@@cris_photography Thanks for the reply. It's a great shame, especially because I'm from Brazil and the iPhone and microphone are a fortune for us.
@@cris_photography Could it be that if I use a USB-C to TRRS adapter, then the TRRS to the receiver is there any chance?
@younutre 🤦🏻😱
@@cris_photography After hours of searching i justa turn the phone off and on, and it works 😊😊😊😊
Hi Cris, my iPhone does not recognize the device as a microphone only as headphones what can I do? say hello to Brazil
Hey there, is it an iPhone? What cable did you use? It be from Hollyland? Also, what phone version is it? Cheers 🙂
I used with iPhone 12 but now with 15 doesn’t work 🙁
So I bought a cable (lightning to trs) and I used the grey and black cable it came with and set up the mic then I recorded it on camera and voice memos and there is no audio on each of the samples so i don’t know if it is my phone or the cable.(I have a iPhone 11)
Did you try the way I show with the same lighting to jack cable? I mean that’s all I did 🤷🏻
I’ll buy the cord rn
Did you buy that cord I am having same problem iPhone 11 thanks @@Snow_boyz
Hi! Iphone 11 user here! Just bought mine now and i can’t connect my mic to my phone. I’m using the adapter provided by hollyland and i try to distance my self to see if it’s working. But it’s totally not working :(( any suggestions please
Hey there, sorry to hear!
Unfortunately I don’t have other tips than shown in the video. Did you try restarting your phone maybe? Cheers
14 plus compatible or not 😢
Should be - yes!
But the transmitter has to be attached to the phone?! How to do with a gimbal / selfie stick?
It does yes. You can hold the phone on the long sides and have the receiver plugged - never been an issue for me
Any iphone app that I can use to manage the audio settings when 2 transmitters are using. My device is lark M1.
Good question ! I usually use them both using the camera but didn’t really look into the audio that much to handle the tracks separately, wouldn’t know. I’d be curious to know though. Maybe filmic pro?
LarkSound
Do you know through what I can record my voice through? I have the receiver and mic connected and their lights are on but when I go to video or voice memos on my iPhone it does not catch my voice.
You’ll need the iPhone adapter
Hi! It works with iPhone 15 pro max?
Yes but I’d go with the Lark M2 😉
Can I use this for online yoga/breathwork classes in zoom?
Yes you can, however I’d go with the Hollyland M2 now (newer and way smaller - check my review on this channel)
It dowsn't work for me. I have the cable and plugged it just was you did and it only records using the mic of the phone. As a walk away the audio gets lower and lower so it's not using the Hollyland receiver.
Did u resolve it?
@@varolucho Yes. I needed to plug in an Apple Lighting to 3.5 TRRS adapter cable into the phone, then plug the Hollyland TRRS to TRS cable into the Apple adaptor, and then plug the TRS end of the Hollyland cable into the receiver. Then it worked.
@@JustaPilot1 thanks bro !
Glad that solved! 😉
I have a iPhone 15 pro will I still be able to use the Hollyland Lark M1 even though my charger port is usb c type
How do I connect to my iPhone 15 pro max?
You’ll need a USB-C to USB-C cable for the 15. I never tried personally
Why do I have just 1 blue light showing on my RX?
Hum 🧐 good question! Are they both charged?
Voice is getting recorded in voice memo but not while recording video.. don’t know what to do😢
Strange! Make sure the app has all the authorizations and restart phone maybe? Not sure mate
Can we connect with action camera like GoPro
If there’s a jack it should work but GoPros don’t have one (unless u buy the accessory for it). Cheers
So i bought the hollyland wire but when i connect all of it to my iPhone it doesn’t work
What model? 15?
Happened to me. But then I unplugged the receiver when playing back the video. Then you hear sound.
It’s not working. What can i do? What can of setings i can do to my iPhone?
What iPhone are you using? Is it the original hollyland cable?
@@cris_photography It’s working. It’s a 14 pro max with original cable. My mistake. Thx apreciated
@@PescuitSimpluAlexwhat did you fix?
Doesn't work
Sorry mate - that’s about all I can do 😩
Helpful. Thanks!
Awesome 😉
Going too fast…
What you mean?
@@cris_photography "you go here"... show us where "here" is - it may seem obvious but it would be helpful
Are you able to hear the audio when you play the videos in the photos app with the microphone connected ?
Because I have an iPhone 15 and I connect with the help of 3.5mm to type c cable which is sold my hollyland and I am not able to hear any audio on playback.
note: the audio does get recorded to the video and I can hear the audio only when I disconnect the microphone from the phone every time.
Could pls reply to this and clear my query, thanks.
Hi there,
No, I can't hear the audio if my receiver is plugged to the phone - have to remove it to hear (it sees it as an external mic otherwise).
So that's that. But as long as you can use the mics to record - they do their job and it's good.
Cheers
bro stop shaking your hands! we trying to see product so i can order my missing pieces.
Hum? A jack 3.5 is all you’re probably missing… type online “picture of a jack 3.5 cable” lol
Legend 🔥
