    Looks like a very interesting system. I use the Saramonic Blink 500 for my wireless audio and love it. The transmitter is bigger than this but I always use a lav mike anyway so it's not a huge deal. Thanks for the video!

    I ordered my M1 while watching your video. I already own the fantastic Lark 150, so this was a no brainer. Despite not having a Lav mic input, the size of it makes that almost a non issue. I can see how I could easily hide it under a shirt collar or other areas. I can see - or I should say "hear" - how the noise canceling feature of the M1 still needs some work. But, given the sound quality, that is not a deal breaker for me. Great review. Thank you for the heads up and the link.

      It’s so great. I’ve been grabbing it every time I have to go make a test of a piece of gear. I am so surprised how much time it saves me even over the already convenient Lark 150. I’m using both ALL the time

    Actually didn’t think the wind noise was too bad without the wind muff. Your link took me to Amazon Canada (Being a resident of the ‘Zed’ speaking country), and noted mics are $199 CDN but there is a $40 coupon…nets out to close to the $114 US). Almost purchased, but decided that without the lag mic plug in likely not the best fit for me (already have the Rode versions which work so well). These look like a phenomenal value, great audio, small and so tempting! Great video once again!

    I wonder is there a way to replace batteries after a time or is this going to be kind of disposable after a few years? I wonder if one of those deity mics with the secondary input, plug this into that then you get really small lav and mini shotgun on your system. giving it a shot. thanks for the timely video. Now I don't have to worry about anything rode or DJI. I realized there may be a great way to hide this mic from view, in plainsite. not the windscreen but at least the mic.

What wireless microphone/ camera setup would you recommend for setting up the camera on a tripod and showing your full body moving through space for example demonstrating a running technique/ workout video. @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  Рік тому

      That was an introductory price only - I mentioned the special price for the release. This video is a couple of months old. So the regular price is much higher than the special price I mentioned in the video. They did discount it on Black Friday. Hollyland is a good company - I think you just misheard me in the video. The price in Germany right now on the M1 is 178 euros before tax so I think you got a good deal

      @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  Рік тому +1

      It really was a steal. I still use this all the time because it's so convenient. The DJI is the best you can get - you made a good choice. Hollyland make the Lark 150, which is much more comparable to the DJI - but it doesn't have internal recording.

      These are not indoor studio mics. You shouldn't use them for that. These are portable lav mics meant for on location - the sound quality does not compete with pro mics in a studio. It's better than the cameras mic (which is of course bad), but not as good as a boomed mic. Won't sound great in a studio.

      it’s better than the rode in my opinion if you plan to clip a transmitter to your shirt. you can plug a lav mic into the rode. but if you’re going to use a lav I would recommend the Lark 150. I find the rode mics peak a lot. It will work with the Gopro as long as you have the optional media mod
