I was thinking the same thing. It went from a movie with a cool mysterious setting to a movie about a bunch of generic monsters.
That is why I watch recaps prior to watching smth these days.

I had never heard of this, but it looks like dollar store Jacobs Ladder had a baby with hellraiser, dark city, and the matrix. Maybe a little memento and monsters inc peppered in there too
Love beats fear. I'm guessing they were angels. They survive, like in Neverending Story. They lost their way. Maybe, they were designed to live off love, so that's why Ian is stronger. What we forget as a society, dies. What we love or fear becomes the most important. ...Kinda like City of Angels.

Did you even watch the video? The secret to killing harvesters was obviously to kill them to death, until they are dead. The others couldn't kill harvesters because they forgot to keep killing them until the harvester was dead.
