The Best Suspend Warlock Build Is Finally Here! (Lockdown Everything)

- This might be my new go-to for endgame content. When built correctly, almost nothing can damage you. I know prismatic is hot right now, but this is definitely one I would give a try!

I think implementing threadlings into this build may lead to better results. After you suspend enemies you have no aoe to clear them out (I guess only tangle explosion) and mobs just hang there suspended as shown in a lot of clips. Swapping out Thread of mind and continuity for Rebirth and Evolution + Hatchling on bow and maybe machine gun is the play IMO. Also for sure run surges because kickstarts are absurdly nerfed for high base time abilities. Cool to see this exotic having an actual build with Wish keeper that is better than just swarmers.
Couldnt agree more. There is an awkward moment that happens when you suspend everything with this build, and then its like: "Now what?" Lol
Might be really good on prismatic. Suspend a groups of mobs, then use the lightning surge to slide in and nuke everything.
Melee gets refunded, rinse and repeat until everything is dead
I have a build similar to this with added threadlings and let me tell you, not only the amount of AOE but the DPS on champs is crazy dumb

been having a lot of fun with hatchling wish-keeper and balance of power, it’s basically threadling hunter.
Been waiting on this one before I committed the resources-good looking out!
This exactly what I was looking for thanks
this is what i need for lost sectors and harder content
Thanks for the vid this was great for onslaught.
Basically one of if not the first build I tested
sucks that they advertised the mission for the bow this week but have the vexcaliber mission up instead so i wont be able to do this build till the mission come around again
I actually run the exact opposite aspects, the survivability from weavewalk is crazy (plus you get melees back so fast with the exotic and shooting tangles) and weavers call is a threadling generating machine. Having that much suspending feels like overkill. I could see maybe one of either wanderer or mindspun evocation, but def not both
Great build
That’s way more sources of suspend than you need. If you run just Matiodoxia, high strength, and Monte Carlo you’ll have as many arcane needles as you could possibly want, and you can save the rest of your abilities/aspects/fragments for more useful things.
What aspects/ fragments do you recommend??
Do you have a link to your build?
So instead of running an exotic of the same element that synergizes perfectly with the build, you want to run a mediocre auto rifle with a chance to refund a full melee charge on a kill? Everytime someone recommends Monte Carlo, I need another dunce cap.
@@PlutoDarknight Monte Carlo gets a damage boost from being kinetic, kinetic weapons synergize very well with Prismatic because they help you get transcendance fast, and transcendance is great for this build because it instantly gives you full melee charges.
Also, Monte Carlo doesn't just give melee charges on kills, it also gives quite a bit of guaranteed melee energy just from doing damage.
I would personally use Final Warning but this build seems awesome very close to what I have but on prismatic
I like the bow but it just seems weak. I Need a strand surge for it
If ur willing to give up the tread of continuity this will work on prismatic just as much but more survivability
I literally was theory crafting this build when i saw the full exotic trait of mataidoxia, then made the build it was fun, but i dont like bows
U can run this with any weapon... like montecarlo and travelers chosen
I love bows in harder content
Travelers chosen is a good one.@@fredericoeusebio9770
Uppies
Monte carlo is a great alternative primary if you don't like bows and you basically never run out of melee charges this way
I put 11k kills on Wish-Keeper last season with swarmers, but as soon as I got the chest piece, I knew swarmers were going in the vault lmao. Shit is fucking NUTTY
How good is this build in teamplay, though? When you can't get all the kills you need for yourself?
Thread of fury singlehandedly refills your melee by itself. Just make sure to pop your tangles, and - along with your other melee energy sources - you should be fine.
Prolly not better than same setup with Necrotic grip + consuming shackle grenades right?
I actually think it's better. You free up Anti barrier slot so you can run an overload and unstoppable weapon. And the melee regen is pretty fast, cause you pretty much can suspend at all times with mindspun, the weapon, and wanderer. Necrotic build relies on your gernade only to actually work. Only issue is that survivability is non existent, so you would have e to rely on suspending enemies and prevent being damaged.
Losing some ad-clear for some innate suspend, melee refund, and Anti-barrier seems like a good tradeoff.
@josh___something As far as ad clear goes, using forbearance while weavers trance is active makes quick work of everything. I just switch to Indepted kindness when There are more orange and yellow bars.
that glitch transition your using is not fun to look at. it messes with my eyes big time >.
People are not noticing that most exotics (the non neutral game one) are leaned towards the normal subclasses and Prismatic falls off hard when used around other people competing for kills constantly.
Builds like this are what you’ll see show back up again when Master and GM content reappears.
P.S. the new warlock helm is SO much better on Solar than it is Prismatic as well
I think the thing people don't get about prismatic is that it's a jack of all trades and master of none when given the normal exotics.
Exotic class items are a completely different story. Apotheosis/Star eater is so good! basically double super damage and ability spam to clean up. Or osmionancy/harmony to spam grenade and supers.
True prismatic inability to have resto x2 and a way constantly extend the timer to 15 seconds has me still playing on my solar warlock alot in endgame activity. Prismatic seems to be best in at level content while the normal subclasses are better for above power activities
Seems crazy to not use a heavy gl with this
... Edge transit is right there
Need prismatic one fits with that build
This is like ordering a single French fry and then using a whole bottle of ketchup on it. Then getting a side order of ketchup garnished with ketchup just to polish off the ketchup in the complementary ketchup bowl and washing it all down with a tall glass of frothy ketchup.
7 Baby Yodas out of 4 Grinches stealing Christmas
what in the tdt is this
you saying almost right wierd
Warlocks won the final shape by a long shot.
This subclass is so strong, but for some reason I can't like it. of the strand element itself.
Here’s the problem: I could just use Felwinter’s Helm, and instead of suspending, everything gets 30% weakened for 10 seconds and disoriented for 7.5 seconds, which is way stronger than suspend. It also works great with prismatic warlock, especially with devour and facet of balance.
You don't have to get the final blow with the melee, the exotic itself has built-in melee regen, AND anti-barrier capabilities.
This is the PURPOSE of buildcrafting, brotherman. Felwinter's helm is good, I have a build for it in DIM, even. But different situations call for different things.
Gamers will optimize the fun right out of the game...
That's not a problem. That's *your* problem. Other builds that aren't minmaxed or meta can be fun and viable, you don't HAVE to play the "very best" setup.
@@Mindcrowmy thoughts exactly. Like shut the hell up🙄
Yeah but its not on prismatic ill pass lolll
EXACTLY LMFAO imagine not using prismatic 😂
Good stuff! How do you deal with enemies with prismatic shield
If someone isn't using prismatic, I question them lol. You have to. I don't care if prismatic was bad. YOU MUST
@@WEDZGAMING You can still use transcendence without using prismatic subclass
@@WEDZGAMING Any time you're forced to pop a prismatic shield, there's always a prismatic flicker well.
