Kayaking Harveys/ East Fork Harveys Creek, Pa

Level: 1.5 at putin, 1.25 at takeout
Paddlers: James Malek, Scott Mantua, Mark Linn, Danny Seiger, Ricky Strange, Stephen Strange, Ian (I forget the last name), and another person I forgot (I will update this when I know).
Harveys Creek is a classic PA run that I was lucky to get on my way home for spring break. I wish I brought my Antix for this. run, as it really is a great place to half-slice creek, but I still had fun nonetheless. I got to shred with a bunch. of competent kayakers, most of whom I have been friends with most of my kayaking career, so it felt like a great welcome back home for spring break!
East Fork Harveys is a tributary to Harveys Creek, where you can get a bonus rapid whenever you paddle Harveys. It flows into the creek on river left a bit after the slide rapid, and is a fast, tight mini-gorge. It reminds me of an easier Eagle section of the Beaver, or an easier Meadow Run slides. But it is extremely scenic as it quickly gorges out.
The only things not pictured are the top waterfall and the broken dam, both of which have wood in them. Because of their wood. situation, we just put in below them.
