Hello thank you for still posting videos. I got my bachelors in hca from beach and next step is getting MBA or MHA. My question is, are the classes in MHA the same as undergrad? Also, Have you done a fellowship?
I did a policy and program fellowship after graduating with my MHA, but that is quite different from your traditional administrative fellowship programs. For the MHA, I would say most of the classes I took in year 1 were similar to HCA classes. It is still a grad program though, so the content gets more detailed and the curriculum was a bit more rigorous. I would say if you want an easier grad school experience, go for the MHA. But if you want to really broaden your business acumen and deepen your skills, then go for the MBA!
There definitely is demand! But it's gonna take some niching down your career goals and having a good idea of exactly where you'd like to work in the healthcare industry. Get specific about your goals, identify your sill gaps, and start from there.
