    Have you ever thought of being a personal EA to a multi-billionaire who would treat you as the special person you are? Billionaires are looking for top notch intelligent people to manage their properties, vehicles, meetings, problems, service appointments, etc. Pay would be twice what you are currently making, plus a luxury car / suv, and possibly a place of residence if you become someone they can't survive without.

    Hi Sarah. I’ve been a Management Assistant in an engineering department for 1 year and a half. I can agree with everything you are saying!! They treat me very well and I’m never spoken down to. Thank goodness for that. Your job duties sound like my job duties. By the end of the week I am stressed out. Thank you for this video

    Another con would be the lack of career advancement. Being an EA is kind of a dead-end role and the work can be super overwhelming and underpaying considering all the work that you have to do. I worked as an EA for two years during college and the experience made me never want to go back again.

  • @peaceebong
    @peaceebong 19 днів тому

    Hello Sarah, amazing video, thanks for the openness, however,the cons are true in many cases but I still believe they can be reduced by the "self-development" work we put in. I currently occupy this role and what has worked for me is by truly understanding my position and building myself in that same light. So without being pompous or full of pride to the fact that you are privy to sensitive information, which of course gives you an edge over other staff, it's important to know that you are way up there, keep your priorities straight and well defined, be totally respectful to everyone but let your best regard be to who you work directly with. That's your primary place of assignment and you owe a higher degree of your service commitments there. This would help you focus better, indirectly configure the perception of others about you and you will be accorded a higher regard. You can be seen as the CEO or Executive Director and that will totally make a difference!
    I hope this helps someone❤️

    I would say that at least in the healthcare systems I've worked for, in order to apply for an EA position you must have a master's degree or a bachelor's and 10+ years of experience.
