It is a good idea. In my opinion, two important questions remain unanswered: how good is the network of such power swap stations and how quickly can it grow? And whether the capacity of a station can cover the demand - certainly yes in the beginning, but what if there are a lot of NIOs on the roads...?
@IntoDriving just like gas stations, EV stations will increase. Before, people used to ride horses, they were having anxiety about vehicles stopping after gas goes empty in the vehicle and no gas stations near by. Things evolved and EV will also evolve , but greed countries without swap hate nio and mainly China, if it was west, it could be wow wow.
@@vincentdcunha4914 the infrastructure plays an important role in decision making when it comes to buying an EV. The idea to swap a battery is good. Imagine you could swap a battery at any fuel station… Another thing is you have to lease a car and you have to lease the battery. If you buy a battery then you can not use the swap stations. There is a legal thing with ownership of the battery, at least at Germany
Would have been great to get comments from that guy in the background wearing the light blue shirt at mark 34:27. What does he think of NIO Battery swap. He's been standing there for 1 hr charging his car....lol
This is the man who helps NIO drivers use the Power Swap Station. It is a good move from NIO to offer support at the beginning. Although I think that after some time support will no longer be needed.
NIO is the future!!!!!!!!
NIO is changing the EV game, 0-90% in 5 minutes without even needing to get out of the car!

@@IntoDriving 5 or 6 NIOs waiting = 30-40 minutes for a fully, healthy charged battery, still a much better situation than using a supercharger

Great video...Did you ask how to change NOMIs name in the settings.
