Drum Majors lead salute of the massed Pipe Bands during 2023 Aboyne Highland Games in Scotland

Leading Drum Major Bill Barclay leads the massed Pipes and Drums salute past the Chieftain's tent after the official opening of the 2023 Aboyne Highland Games. These were held on the green at Aboyne in Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Saturday 5th August 2023. The bands salute the Chieftain, the Most Honourable The Marquis of Huntly and special guests, including Dr. Joseph John Morrow, Lord Lyon, King of Arms.
The Drum Majors behind Bill Barclay are (L-R) Neil Jamieson, Robb Cumming and Ian Esson on front row, Rob Brownfield, Bert Summers, Phillip Michie, Roland Stuart and Derek Dean on the second row. The bands taking part in the parade were Towie Pipe Band, Gordon Highlanders Association Drums & Pipes, Lonach Pipe Band, Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, Deeside Caledonia Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Ballater & District Pipe Band and Newtonhill Pipe Band. The bands were playing "Flett from Flotta" and "Wings".

Las nubes y la niebla en las colinas son normales en Escocia, donde el sol es muy raro, pero hace que la tierra sea muy verde. Saludos de nuestra parte aquí en Escocia.
