+iab_matthew111 For some reason, (I really don't know why), pipe bands adopt a military dress and style. The kilt, the hats the jackets, etc, are what is worn by military pipe bands, as well as the marching. Along with that, they pay careful attention to military comportment. That's just how it is.

I watch this when I have a slow time in my job. Been watching since I came upon it by the "this is suggested for you" back in 2015. Really enjoy the fine troop of cadets and you can see the respect displayed by those who do the training and guidance. Never become tired of watching the cadets.
Bravissimi!!! From Italy 🇮🇹🇬🇧
I love hearing the bagpipes I am so proud to be a Scottish Viking Scotland will live on forever one of the best countries in the world
Oh to my glory days when i was drumming and eventually lead massed Pipes and Drums as a senior Drum Major
Sounds like one set of pipes. The togetherness is on another level. Just absolutely perfect.
I have not watched this vid in years, but tonight something triggered a memory. I have often wondered what all of those young men and women from nearly 10 years ago went on to do with their lives. If any are on here please reply.
Magnificent. The Dingwall salute was particularly moving as my Dad served with the Seaforths in Burma during WW2 and it is one of my greatest regrets that I will never be able to visit and see where he trained.
Brilliant, the cream of British youth. Nice to see them on the parade ground of one of the old barracks. My nephew lives in one of the officers houses overlooking the parade ground at Redford. The old barracks may not be the best places to live but they have a certain something which will be missed when they have gone.
Lets hope they all are preserved for eternity rhannay39. They are part of our heritage.

England can't claim all our best attributes as their own.
Mick Tearlach the band consists of playing members from all over the UK not just Scotland!
@@tearlach45 Wanker. The description clearly states"from all over the UK."
The British Army is run from England, paid for mainly by England, staffed mainly by English folk and serves mainly England. Many of those is the video may be Scottish but they most definitely are owned by England.
They are military so that is why their faces have that stern look. They are marching in good order, and playing very well. It's good to watch and great to listen to.
+iab_matthew111 For some reason, (I really don't know why), pipe bands adopt a military dress and style. The kilt, the hats the jackets, etc, are what is worn by military pipe bands, as well as the marching. Along with that, they pay careful attention to military comportment. That's just how it is.
I was always impressed with pipe and drum bands! I love the twirl of the sticks of the tenor drummers, awesome!
Most sincerely,
Andy, Annmarie's husband
Thank god for those who are willing to give up their time...to train and to be trained. There is hope......from Canada...well done!
Out standing. As an ex Scots Guardsman, I thought the marching and the playing was first rate. Very well done to all involved.
perfect i was taught buy Pipe major Roger Huth of the Scots Guards I agree with you totally the Drumming is awesome and the pipers fingering is soooooo acurate these kids are our future
Wonderful to watch and to listen to. Awesome skills by these younger folk. Always a fan of the pipes from New zealand.
Really enjoyed this, many thanks for posting. That's an exceptionally high standard for cadets.
Thanks for posting. Fabulous P&D band, and great sound quality. Nice repitoire too.
I am Scottish on my dad's side of course. I just recently found out for sure we are Scottish ( wasn't sure before, thinking we were Irish). I found out my 3x great grandfather might have Bruce blood. I still need more research to find this out for sure but the paper clipping stated he as having blue blood and Bruce blood. He was born near Glasgow in 1844 and was a highlander. He came to the US in 1881 and worked in the coal mines of Pennsylvania then came to Trenton, NJ and was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company. Then he had a grocery business.
As a first generation of scott to be born in the US I feel the pipes sound are in my genes.Wonderful pipes and drums and regimentation.
Whenever I listen to this kind of music on the go, my step automatically falls to the beat. :D
Fantastic I am very proud to have been an Officer in the Cadet Forces. The standard is second to none and no sheet music in sight.
nice video.
I like the Scottish pipes and drums.

A splendid corps of pipers. Well turned out and engrossed in their music making
