    Still waiting for u to do baptizm of fire by Glenn Tipton since u said Adrian Smith of Iron maiden is a better player than Tipton I wanna see u do it note for note. Like I said Tipton is the greatest heavy metal guitarist and second to none.

    setting depend on many things my friend,you are better off not to ask this question because it has no relevance and you will not sound like this ever.
    take your guitar and your amp(or through the pc if that's your method) and spend one day(or more) familiarizing yourself with all the settings
    generally for distortion i use:
    gain: 7-8 (out of 10)
    treble: 5-7(depends on your equipment)
    bass: 4-6(depends on your equipment)
    mids: 2-4(depends on your equipment)
    so,it depends on many factors

    Why aren't you down picking god? I down pick most of my guitar stuff, Metallica, Slayer, etc...is it bad if I ONLY die pick the parts I can die pick or should I practice alternate picking more?

    • @mikegrossguitar
      @mikegrossguitar  9 років тому

      Nolan Moore theres a time and place for both

    • @zombislayerpwnsnoobs

      I apologize for the typos, I was on my phone earlier when I typed that.

      +Nolan Moore Omg, 1 year ago post, here we go. Yeah, practice more alternate picking, it's built for speed, there's really nothing wrong to only down pick, it sounds heavier in general, but you won't be able to go very fast anytime soon, simple physics, you just have to get your pick up to the starting position again and it just tires you, double the movement on the joints with half the sounds. But I guess you've figured this out after one year anyway :D.
